Meliora on US-Maelstrom is currently 2/8 Heroic Dragon Soul and
looking for progression focused raiders who enjoy raiding just as
we do. Our guild has beginnings that start from vanilla and has
continually evolved to be the great guild it is today. We need
everyone to be reliably in attendance for all raids, fully prepared
every raid day. Anyone with the ability to multitask and play
multiple specs just as well as main spec will be highly preferred.
See classes and specs needed below, any spec listed is expected to
be played with high proficiency. We currently run a 10 man raid
format. Applicants should also be available for PTR and ready for
T13.
Each applicant is required to provide log parses with their application. You must be able to read logs and fully understand how to utilize them.
When it comes to encounter and class mechanics, everyone needs to know how to make best use of these mechanics combined in order to min/max their raid presence. You should always know how to make the best decisions on the fly to help make encounters easier, not force other players into difficult situations to cover for you or someone else.
We expect that you will be a fast learner that plays mistake free a large majority of the time. We understand that everyone makes mistakes every so often, but when there are mistakes we expect no excuses for them or blame, take responsibility for them, learn from it, and don't repeat it.
If you are not a self reliant player who genuinely wants to clear all content and be part of a team long term, you need not apply. We want applicants on a close progression and gear level to us, wanting to "see the content" is not going to cut it. We also do not want players who are more concerned about what items drop off of specific bosses, than actually understanding how to kill the boss itself, killing bosses is top priority.
