Guild Profile
Primary Language: English
Raids per week: unknown
Recruiting (outdated):
all classes
Paragon has been one of the foremost Horde guilds on Marlone since
the server's conception. We maintain a solid core of raiders who
strive to complete all current content while staying both
competitive and relaxed. Paragon members uphold an unparalleled
level of professionalism and courtesy within the raiding community
on Malorne. We feel that constantly striving to maintain our high
standards is what allows us to remain an exception:
There are certain qualities we expect from every raider, and these traits you will find in any and every long standing Paragon member:
Mature Attitude
We don't strictly enforce an age restriction on those joining, however, we will not tolerate in-game drama. This applies as much to loot as it does to disputes in general. On the 17th wipe remember: relax. Relative calm and composure is expected from all guild members, at all times.
Good Reputation
The guild reputation is important, so remember...when you're playing with others, you represent not just yourself, but Paragon Guild. Members behave correctly inside and outside of guild activities; PuGs and cross-realm dungeons are no place to forget that.
Good Team Player Attitude
This should go without saying. Being a part of a hardworking team is the key to defeating end-game bosses, and to succeeding in general. Without a good attitude and the ability to get along with others you will not last long. We encourage our players to go out of their way to help others. On the same token, do not take advantage of guildmates (e.g. beg for equipment/money/tradeskill items). If you need help, simply ask. We are here to help.
Desire To Be The Best
This means that we're first and foremost dedicated to end-game raids. In order to secure a raiding spot in Paragon, you are expected to maintain a 90%+ attendance. If you go weeks without participation, you will most likely be considered for removal to make room for others who want to join and participate.
TL;DR
If you invest your time helping others and helping the guild, Paragon will invest time, energy and gear back into you. If this page was really too long, and you really didn't read through our policies thoroughly, this is not the guild for you.
- To be a tight group of people who enjoy being around each
other. Guild chat and Ventrilo remain open, fun and entertaining.
We feel our cohesion is the single most important attribute to our
success.
- To constantly challenge ourselves to be skilled players in the
game. We consistently attempt increasingly more challenging content
and rely on our tactics rather than over-extending raid times.
Because of this, we expect a lot out of the members in our guild.
Our members must be very competent and confident with their class
in order to triumph over the difficulty of the encounters we
pursue.
- Sacrifice for one another. We expect our members to put the guild before themselves and to uphold the good name of Paragon in public arenas. We have all worked very hard over the years to establish a reputation of excellence and will continue to do so through our teamwork and friendship.
