“Apocalypse” Guild

Back in February 2010, the guild decided to take a break due to a lot of fatigue. At that time, we were ranked first in 25 mans (as we had been throughout WOLK) and had a respectable US rank. Now we're back and look forward to progression raiding again!

Apocalypse, in its fifth year, is back for Cataclysm. Most of our members have played since original release and have enjoyed the majority of server first achievements together.

Our mission remains the same: raid smart instead of raiding long. We recognize that real lives are important and should be nurtured, but our in-game lives don’t need to suffer because of that. We can be at the forefront of Misha raiding by limiting downtime, pre-planning raid strategies, being active on the forums and researching individual roles prior to showing up at raid time.

When looking for another player to join our team, we expect nothing less than people who are passionate about playing, highly motivated, and mesh well with our tight knit group. Personality is very important to us and anyone who has thin skin and can’t take a joke that South Park would make about you should not consider applying.

Apocalypse requires that all players have an attitude that is open to advice and criticism. They should be willing, and able, to correct their personal strategy when instructed or recognize individually that their output should be better.

There will be no loot drama. It is distributed via Loot Council in a way that best benefits progression.

Since space is limited, players will be continually competing for spots to raid. Players are expected to understand this and take it with grace and humility. Attendance is of the utmost importance and is a big factor in maintaining a raider's rank.
