“Siege Perilous” Guild

Siege Perilous is recruiting for Mythic Hellfire Citadel!

Siege Perilous is a progression raiding guild with a serious but friendly atmosphere. Our progression team runs 3 nights a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Monday, 7:45 PM - 11 PM server (Central Time).

We are a group of adults raiding competitively on a limited schedule, valuing competence, respect, and teamwork. Our membership is primarily in their 20s and 30s, and we are not interested in anyone’s drama.

This guild takes pride in its raid atmosphere. We don't care what color you are, who you sleep with, or what your other hobbies might be. As long as you enjoy raiding, do your research on the encounters beforehand, and are always striving to improve, you will find a home here. Members have been with us for many years due to our friendly environment.

We expect raiders to minimize their avoidable damage taken, and prioritize skill at execution of mechanics over gear or big numbers. You are your deaths per week. We will put a #1 DPS on standby to keep a #4 DPS that is flawlessly performing encounter mechanics. We do not believe in seniority-based raid slots. Mythic raid composition is determined by merit and raid needs.

We are currently a bit more melee heavy than we'd like. Any ranged DPS class is wanted at this time. Although the numbers aren't that drastic between our melee and ranged composition, Blizzard loves tuning fights to favor a more ranged-heavy raid team. Dual spec raiders and geared alternative characters are also appreciated for their flexibility and utility.

On top of our progression raid schedule, we also host optional nights on Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM server time. We encourage our raiders who want to gear up an off-spec or an alternative character to join these raids. This is a good opportunity for raiders that are struggling on a particular encounter to join on these raid nights so that we can answer any questions and work through mechanics in a less intense environment. It is also a great time for friends and applicants to join us for a more casual evening!

If you are a potential Cross Realm applicant, you have an opportunity to raid with us on the optional Wednesday and Friday nights and get a feel for the raid leading and raid atmosphere, before you actually commit to a server transfer. If we both feel like a transfer makes sense, we can then transition you to progression raids once you have joined the guild.
