Questionable Morality

Raid Nights: Sunday/Monday 7:00 pm EST - 11:00 pm EST; we do NOT go late, if we didn't kill the boss, if we hit 1% at 10:59 pm est on monday night, we do NOT go late. If we are in the middle of an attempt and it hits 11:01 pm, we'll finish the attempt, but that's it.

The core of Questionable Morality is a group of friends that have known each other either in game (and in most cases in real life) for years. The guild started as a 10 man group in Wrath of the Lich King, killing 10 man content. During Cataclysm since 10 man raiding was viable as a group, we decided to make a full guild of it.

Since then we've been raiding mostly with the same members.

We follow these Objectives, in this order:

1. Enjoy the Raid - We don't care if someone is the worlds greatest Rogue if we can't stand talking to them, they aren't getting in. We'd rather not raid then raid with people that are obnoxious.

2. Enjoy Progression - If you don't want to push mythic then you won't like us. If you want to push mythic till you're a red faced ball of frustration and want to strangle your tank for standing in something, you won't like us. If you want to try and help yourself and your friends to be just a bit better than they were last attempt then we'd be happy to know you.

3. Enjoy the Game - Hate playing Fury, do NOT want to tank? That's fine, we don't want to make you - as long as we can progress. Play whatever, however, if we can't enjoy progression and it's becoming clear that, for this fight the group would have a much higher chance of success with a brewmaster monk and there's a monk in the raid, we will expect the player to make the switch for the fight, everyone else will do the same in return.

Other things you should take away from this:

We don't mind if you have another character raid with another guild on the off nights, many of us do. What we do mind is if that other guild says "Hey since we didn't kill the new boss tonight, we're going to come in sunday as well!" Cool, some guilds do that. If so, we wish that person luck but they are not welcome to play with us. We won't add extra days and take away from other commitments, we expect players with us to do the same in return.

If you have to miss a night, give the raid a week's heads up (more if possible) and we can usually find someone to sub in for you. The guild has a lot of friends who either have sunday/monday free, or members that can no longer raid who would love to step in for a weekend and help us out. If you are missing 1/2 the raids in a month we'll talk. Is it something temporary? Some of us are in jobs were there is crunch time, we are willing to make some adjustments because we like playing with that person (remember objective 1?) If it's a total shift with no immediate end in sight we will replace you. It's not a hard feeling, and if that situation ever clears up, we will try to find you a spot raiding. As long as we weren't forced to kick you from the guild for being a *** bag you're welcome in QM.

Your alt will NOT be raiding with us (probably.) If someone joins as a rogue at the beginning of the expansion, we expect them to continue to play that rogue through the entirety of the expansion. It's nice that you've gotten an itch to tank that's great, but our members are extremely steady and our raid composition is worked to be balanced. If you switch to a priest, someone else has to switch to a rogue that means someone may have to play something they didn't want to (see Objective 3.)

Sure bringing in your Warrior to tank might make this fight a bit easier, but then your missing the loot on your hunter, and from then on we are dependent on your warrior to be there for that fight.

We are not aiming to be a world first guild, we do NOT class stack. Doing so would often mean many of us would not get to play the class we wanted to. We wouldn't enjoy the raid, the progression, or the game.

That being said, on occasion something comes up that changes that. Perhaps we don't have a Holy Paladin, or Bob, who's very graciously stepped out of ret into the holy role SUCKS, and Tim the Mage over there has been playing a mage for 3 years and really wants to do something new. In such a case there might be some flexibility. We'd rather not; it means taking a huge hit to our already limited time re-gearing a member who already has another geared character; still there are reasons it happens.

A lot of us do however do other things, we raid flex with other guilds, cap out multiple characters, pvp, challenge modes, whatever, you're welcome to bring an alt to those.

Other Stuff
We play a lot of games besides WoW, mostly Blizzard games but other things like Titanfall, Minecraft, Borderlands are common. 4 of us stayed up from Midnight to 10 AM playing the most recent Tomb Raider together.
Kamika- "OH SH*T!"
Pyrill- "What?"
Tthrack- "God damn it, I'm still downloading"
Kamika- "Where are you?"
Pyrill- "Just swam up on the beach, going into a cave now."
Kamika- "Wait for it..."
seconds later...
Pyrill- "OH SH*T!"
