Raid Time: 7:00pm EST - 1:00am EST Sunday - Thursday. Friday and
Saturday raiding may occur during progression. We currently clear
ToC25 3 times a week, ToC10 Heroic 5 times a week, and ToC25
Heroic. We still do Ulduar25 to collect fragments and mimiron
mounts.
If your class is not listed, but you feel that you are an exceptional player and can outperform people within our raid, please do not hesitate to apply as we are always on the look out for high quality players. You will be given the opportunity to prove your worth just like any other applicant would. If you are capable of outperforming your mirror class, you will find yourself with a raid spot.
Numbers are important and many of our members like to push DPS/Healing meters to get onto the wowmeteronline.com scoreboards. However, we are looking for people that can push DPS and Healing while maintaining SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. We are more impressed by someone that can sustain DPS while dealing with new encounters rather than a player that will only do good DPS once an encounter is on farm.
Remember, you are reading this thread because you are looking for something better than what you have. We are that something better. We do not make good players, we recruit them. We are not here to carry you through content and teach you how to play. If you think otherwise than this is not the guild for you. We will pick apart your Parses upon application submission and scrutinize your gear/gem/glyphs/spec choices. The vent interview will be held in a serious manner and you will be looked at in depth to see if you are even worth the transfer.
Do not let any of this deter you from applying. Though we hold high standards on each individual, whether it be on a main or alt, we do enjoy raiding as a whole and have fun.
About Us: Impervious (http://impervious-guild.com) was created in January of 2005 to begin raiding in Molten Core. We quickly became the #1 raiding guild on Stormreaver-US, and have held onto that ranking for the entire duration of the guild’s existence. While being #1 on the server is something we are proud of, we are more concerned with maintaining a respectable US and World Ranking (www.wowprogress.com/pve/us). All our raiders are focused on progression, and will do whatever it takes to see a new encounter completed.
Raiding Policy: We are one of the best raiding guilds around, and we expect nothing but the best from any potential recruit we bring onboard. Showing up to 100% of raids with full consumables is not something that makes you standout; it’s the norm around here. We are very much a performance based raid force, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the guild for a day or for a year, we will take the best available player to an encounter. New recruits will be given plenty of opportunity to show their worth and will spend minimal amount of time bench warming.
Gear and Experience: We are looking for players that have experience raiding Heroic ToC25 as well as Ulduar25 with Hard Modes. We expect applicants to possess T9 set pieces or Equivalent Gear Level. Please don't apply if you are poorly geared and looking for our guild to gear you out!
Alts: One of the most unique things about our guild is our approach to alts. Most of our raiders have one of more alts that are capable of raiding at the same level as our main raiders. These alts spend plenty of time every week clearing ToC content, including Heroic10s and 25s. The reason we look so favorably upon alts is that it allows us to maintain a relatively small roster of raiders, but with plenty of flexibility with each raider possessing multiple toons that are capable of being main raiders. If you are a player that is skilled on multiple characters, we would like to hear from you.
Knowing The Content: We are not here to teach you how to do the content that is already on farm. You will be expected to have a full understanding on all current content even if you have not done it in your guild. Be prepared to have your Dual Spec something viable for certain encounters to help continue giving us the edge we need within the raid and so we don't have to waste time having you port and respec. There is also no hand holding within this guild and we aren't going to start with you.
Do Not Bother Applying If:
You are under 18.
You insist on having a gathering profession on your main.
You still have full Tier 7 gear.
You have little to no experience in Ulduar and ToC.
How to apply: Our application can be found at (http://impervious-guild.com/recruitment/) along with more details about our recruitment. Do not waste our time by filling out an application with little to no thought put into it. We will not read any application that does not provide a link to WMO or WWS. Applications can be posted on our application forums or sent privately to our email (imperviousguild@gmail.com).
Contacting us: Any questions and concerns about our guild and recruitment can be directed to Slackasaurus, Thix, Faytx, or Leibowitz on Stormreaver-US. Feel free to ask someone in guild if we're not online as we have many alts.
