Symbolic is a progression guild located on the PvP-Pacific server of Tichondrius. We are currently recruiting new members to strengthen our roster for 4.3 and beyond. We're consistently one of the top 25-man guilds on Tichondrius and always strive to improve with every tier of content.

About Us
Symbolic was formed by a group of friends on March 25, 2010. Our guild was initially composed of members from 2 different guilds, but has since found welcome additions from other guilds and servers. The core of the guild has been raiding together for over a year now and looks to continue doing so for as long as Blizzard keeps us entertained with new content.

Our guild consists of talented individuals, many of whom are quick learners, exceptional theorycrafters, and consistent performers. Our members come from all sorts of places and backgrounds, each with unique personalities and attitudes that together form the interesting (to say the least) bunch that we are. We have our fair share of loudmouths, shy types, nerds, old timers, beautiful women, 6'8" giants, gorgeous men, and creepers.

However different we may be, we are all united by a common goal and a shared desire to get the most of what we play this game for -- entertainment and fun. Some of us love to PvP. We have the serious types who compete at the Gladiator level every arena season, the battleground fanatics who can't get enough of WSG and AB, and the random people who occasionally grief alliance and invade Stormwind and Ironforge at a whim. Some of us love to farm and make money. We have the trade chat kings who advertise their professions every 20 seconds, the Auction House campers who of course have the iPhone AH app, and the poor bastards who fly around all day gathering nodes, herbs, and dead animal products. Some of us love the social aspect of the game. We have the late-night ventrilo crew who are up on vent talking about God knows what until the sun rises, all the while playing pictionary and linking each other YouTube videos featuring Rihanna or midget wrestling. We have several groups of real-life friends and people who live close enough to each other that they became RL friends and now spend nights together partying.


Our Mission
Though a lot of our fun and entertainment comes from several facets of the game, all of us find a lot of enjoyment in the most important aspect of our guild -- raiding. Symbolic is first and foremost a progression raiding guild. What that means is that our topmost priority is to challenge and eventually succeed in the most current and also the most relative PvE content in the game. Right now this content is Dragon Soul. Our main focus at the moment is to progress through heroic modes, while developing the consistency needed to become as efficient as possible at the "farm" content that we do. We allow chit chat during trash to avoid the monotony and boredom that might arise in a "#*#*" environment, but when it's boss time, we expect our raiders to have exceptional focus and attentiveness. Conversation and communication during boss encounters must be concise, necessary, and relevant to succeeding in that encounter.
