Aeon is a PvE Alliance progression guild. We strive to push raid
content and achievements as quickly as possible.
Progression:
Naxx Cleared.
Maly down.
Sarth 3 Drakes down.
All of Ulduar - 4/9 Hardmodes.
Trial of the Crusader 5/5 Normal, 4/5 Heroic.
All exceptional applicants will always be considered.
It is very hard for us to consider an application if there is not some type of WMO or WWS Report, showing some of the more challenging fights. If your guild doesn’t do them currently it's easy enough to compile one yourself. If you can’t (maybe your guild has stopped raiding) then you need to tell us why and find some other way to convince us that you really do know how to play your class well.
We need to know what fights you have done, we need to know that you are raid aware and can do what ever job is assigned to you, not just dps, heal or tank. Your previous raid experience will help convince us – so tell us. Don’t over state what you have done, nothing is more likely to cause a rejection than achievements which don’t match claims (and we will check). If some of your experience is on a different toon, tell us. Above all your application needs to make us think that you really are a good player. As you prepare your application think to yourself, “How can I convince these guys that I really do know my class?”.
Raid Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday
Invites out at 8:00 EST
First pull by 8:30 EST
Finish at Midnight EST
All active raiders are required to maintain 80 percent raid attendance. We expect you to be dependable. If you can't make 4 out of 5 raids while we are pushing progression, it will not work. It’s often difficult to maintain this attendance, you need to want to raid, badly. If that’s not how you feel, there are plenty of other guilds out there.
Loot Distribution:
We operate on a Loot Council system. Two randomly chosen raid members join the officers each raid to help distribute the drops in an equitable manner.
Raids outside of schedule:
10 Man runs are randomly put together through the week.
The guild:
We consider our Guild a raiding team and we all have the common goal of successfully pushing progression while having fun doing it. All of our players are expected to put the good of the guild and progression above their own individual needs.
Have a sense of humor and enjoy raiding. When one person is constantly complaining it brings down everyone around them. Constant whiners, those who complain about others (as distinct from those who offer timely, constructive criticism), those who create needless drama will be removed - regardless of your gear and experience.
We are looking for players that are in it for the long haul. Fair weather fisherman allergic to wiping on hard encounters that require a high level of execution need not apply. If you raid for the thrill of the first hard-earned kill then you will fit in. If you prefer the fight where the boss is on farm and the loot comes easy, then perhaps another guild will suit you better. Age (or more accurately lack of it) is not a barrier, but if you are a younger applicant you will need to work hard (in your application) at convincing us that you understand the responsibilities of a raider.
Aeon supplies a large sum of raid consumables and pays most of repair bills for all raiders (during progression). In return we ask you provide anything else you might need, and give 110% on every single pull from the start to the finish of it, regardless of the outcome.
Expectations of Applicants:
*Have the knowledge of class, how to spec and gear properly and know the resources to access for information.
*Have a working mic and can run ventrilo.
*Gear should be on par to step into 25 man Trial of the Crusader.
*Good sense of humor.
*Can withstand criticism.
*Can ‘fess up when a mistake happens.
*Ability to adapt and change with strategies.
Contact information:
Questions or Concerns may be directed to Beej, Vandermar, Marthel, Parte, Kelestara, Ezekiel, or Sonyana.
If you feel you can meet the requirements above, Please register at our website and submit an application. However, it is important you read the information on the forum and submit an application as instructed by the posts in the forum. A poorly prepared application will reflect badly on you. If you can’t dedicate the correct amount of time to prepare a proper application, you can be sure we won’t dedicate any time in considering it. Once the application is submitted there will be further questions from the officers and members, so ensure you check back every so often. If you do not want your application posted on what, is effectively, a public forum, then we can accommodate that. Send your application in a personal message to one of our officers and we will post it in a private forum.
