About Forte
*Forte is a tight-knit group originally formed as a Friday night 10-Man pug, which slowly evolved into it's current state. Our team intends to continue it's path of high standards and recruit players that fit into our community in preperation for Cataclysm.

Guild Structure
*Our officer and raiding core are treated equally from top to bottom. If you're a raider in this guild, it is a full time spot, and you will have an equal opportunity to progress as a guild with us.

What We Expect
*All raiders are expected to meet all raid times, and be responsible enough to post out when necessary. We do not keep an official attendance policy, because the expectation is that you want to be there for us every night. If absences become habitual, further actions will be taken to ensure progression continues at a top level pace.
*We expect to adopt a top end atmosphere and our members to treat it as such. While we want everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves, raid time is focus time. We expect our members to perform at where their current gear set / experience will allow.
*Finally, we ask that members hold themselves well publically. As a member, you represent this guild by having a tag over your head.

What You Can Expect
*All Forte raiders can expect fair distribution of loot and equal opportunity to raid.
We will never ask anything of you that we wouldn't ask of any of our other members in your situation.
*You can expect a full duration trial period lasting anywhere from 3-6 weeks, as well as a well documented set of criteria we will be evaluating.
*Lastly, you can expect a group of dedicated, like minded players that are willing to go the extra mile for you to push content and develop our community.

To Be Accepted
*We require all trials to have a unanimous approval from our current raiding core first and foremost. To be a part of our team, our core must support the kind of person you are. While most of us have full time jobs, families, etc. and are fairly well rounded, it can't be stressed enough that you need to be able to fit into our community day in and out both.

Recruitment Status

*We fully intend to be a min/max atmosphere and will never over recruit if we can prevent it. That being said, our recruitment is open for top end players and not specific class/specs.

* This being said, We are looking ONLY for a world-class Hunter and Feral Druid / Fury Warrior currently. This is always subject to change.

To be considered, you must have an offspec you can play equally as well and are willing to do so as needed for our guild.

As always, we will accept any and all exceptional applicants, and we hope that you will give us adequate time to review your application thoroughly before making a final decision. Keep in mind, that we are receiving a large number of apps daily, and it's becoming ever more important to put your best work into what you write. Aside from logs, your effort in the application is what sets you aside from the next 10-15 players in your class that have interest.

Raid Dates/Times

Sunday-Wednesday (8:30-12:00) during progression
*We expect to be doing pulls at 8:30 Invites will go out at 8:15 and the expectation is that everyone is on and ready to go.
*Obviously as we progress through cata raid times may decrease (3 instead of 4 nights) depending on status of progression

Loot Council

- Detailed explination of functioning and fairness behind it -
*Loot will be posted in /rw one piece at a time. Interested raiders will send a tell into officer chat with the item they will be replacing, and a brief note about the item (whether it is a main spec, offspec, sidegrade, etc). The loot council will in turn discuss the bids and award the item in whatever manner aides the guild the most.

- Advantages over other systems -
*Speeds up the loot process; allows us to continue to pull trash while loot is discussed and awarded
*Unlike DKP, council provides a method of loot distribution that is both fair and beneficial to the guild as a whole
*Loot doesn't beat encounters, skill beats encounters. Loot council is there to make sure that the guild's overall ability to progress stays in the competitive level

Final Notes

- This guild belongs to its members and we treat it as such -

If you have interest or questions about joining us, feel free to get in contact with Faceroll, Ekye, or Thesheik in game.
