Supermassive is the top raiding guild on the Turalyon (PvE) server, forming in the beginning weeks of January of 2011. We are a well established guild, with members from several premier guilds; notably Might (US 4th, World 9th) and Fusion (Us 3rd, World 10th) of Turalyon. Our members have a simple common goal: successful raid progression. Members of Supermassive are knowledgeable about and focused on end-game content, and we have collectively amassed vast experience as we have progressed individually and together over the years.

Our guild was founded with the forethought that a positive and cohesive environment will help to provide the framework and knowledge to succeed in end-game raiding; and we plan to hang on to this ideal through out Cataclysm and into the upcoming expansions or future games. Through this ideal, we have found ourselves fortunate to be able to foster a community here rather than just a raiding guild. We genuinely like and get along with each other which leads to ample time spent together outside of raids and avoiding the ‘raid loggers’ that plague many places. Members, recruits, friends and officers alike often play multitude of games together. Whether it is: StarCraft, Diablo, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Yahtzee, Scrabble, etc. there is always something to do. The lighthearted, open, and embracing atmosphere is something that we’re very proud of and would love to share with you.

We are looking for mature dedicated players who are knowledgeable and posses the personal drive to be the best player they can be. If you are a player who is enthusiastic about their class and can adjust and play well in a charged environment while keeping your wits about you, you’re just the kind of person we’re looking for. It is also expected that you know how to handle yourself in a professional and candid manner. We are also looking for people that are committed to being a long term raiding member, as we do not over recruit or recruit for the bench. If accepted, you will be expected to start raiding with us right away. If you’re lacking a few important chromosomes here and there, we may not be the guild for you.

As a guild, we spend a considerable amount of time with each applicant as they travel their path through our recruitment process. We dually look forward to providing insight and helpful ideas to our new recruits, and gaining a fresh new perspective on how we’re doing things here. It’s a symbiotic relationship between both parties that often causes us to evolve and makes us a better place.

Turalyon is located at the New York database server and is Eastern time zone. Our raid starts at 7:30pm EST and ends at 12:00am EST - Sunday through Thursday. We rarely exceed our scheduled hours of raiding and everyone, including recruits, are expected to maintain 90%+ attendance. We believe in efficiency over the collective pounding of our heads against the wall and you’ll never see a 3am raid with us. Loot is distributed by a loot council system managed by the officers. We also provide all raiding members and recruits with full access to enchanting materials, potions, flasks, food and repairs at all times.
