<H a l l o w e d> is currently located on Wildhammer, a
Central time zone PvP server in the Shadowburn battlegroup, we are
looking to strengthen our ranks with a few new faces for 25man
Trial of the Crusader aswell as looking to the future for the
upcoming Icecrown Citadel raid.
We are currently recruiting mainly ALL healers, however all classes are welcome to apply as we are always on the lookout for highly skilled and competent raiders to add to our raiding core.
Our current raid schedule through progression is as follows
Tuesday: 6PM CST - 11PM CST
Wednesday: 6PM CST - 11PM CST
Thursday: 6PM CST - 11PM CST
Sunday: 6PM CST - 11PM CST
Monday: 6PM CST - 11PM CST
Of course as content is cleared quicker/easier this becomes much shorter.
About us:
We are a laid back group of people from all reaches of the globe that enjoy ripping through content the second it is released. Drama is not tolerated and is immediately put to rest if something were to happen. We have been together since around the release of Black Temple and fully cleared all content that Burning Crusade had to offer. We obtained the realm first titles for Naxx, OS, and EoE, Through Ulduar we completed Heroic: Glory of the Raider aswell as obtaining realm first Celestial Defender + Death's Demise titles.
Currently in this tier of content we have completed A Tribute to Mad Skill on 25m in ToGC and are currently working on getting 25man Tribute to Insanity.
Goals:
Our main goal as a guild is to progress through new content at the fastest possible speed we can and become one of the top guilds in the US. With this main goal in mind, we are the top guild on our server and are continually pushing to advance our standings on our battlegroup. If you do not like to wipe whilst progressing on newly released bosses and hard modes, please continue in your search for a new home.
What we look for in our recruits:
Individual skill
This is the first thing we look for when a new recruit joins the guild. You should have an in-depth understanding of your class and be 100% focused all of the time during raids. If you cannot move out of retard circles, avoid getting hit by icicle shards, move away from doomfire, or avoid getting hit by shadow crashes, then please continue looking elsewhere. We are past the point of holding people's hands, dragging them on our coattails through content so they can get the purples.
Personality
We enjoy being around people who have a positive attitude and a sense of humor to go with it. If you are only playing the game to stockpile purples and not socialize with the rest of the guild then you can continue your search for a home elsewhere. Being able to handle criticism from others on your ability as a player is a must. In the end, it is that criticism that will make you a better player. We are the type of guild who likes to lead by example. Acting a fool in general chat or guild chat during raids only distracts from the goals we want to achieve and will not be allowed.
Attendance
This is a huge factor in your ability to become a core raider. If you will be able to attend at the least 75% of our raids when we do raid 5 days a week and 90% when we are only raiding 2-3 days a week there is no need for you to apply. If you have to leave early because it is past your bedtime continue looking elsewhere for a home. We do, however, understand that for most people a schedule can change at a moment's notice. We do try and work around this, but sometimes it cannot be avoided to find a replacement for the time being.
Gear
Gear is, for the most part, not a huge issue with us. If you have the skill we are looking for then gear really doesn't matter to you either. This does not mean you should expect to be accepted if you are applying in full greens just after you hit level 80. You should be, at the very least, geared from 25 man Naxx and 10/25 man Ulduar for most of your slots. Your gear should be properly gemmed and fully enchanted before posting an application.
What is expected of you once you become a recruit:
-Ventrilo and a working mic is a MUST
-Always looking for ways to become a better player
-Be on time for raid invites and keep a very high raid attendance
-Required raiding add-ons installed and properly working
-Know every individual fight before you zone in. (Boss abilities and phases more than strategies)
-Stable internet connection and a computer that wont lock up every 10 seconds
