Forlorn Legacy of Windrunner (PST PVE) is a hardcore endgame
raiding guild with strong roots. We exist due to a common bond and
idealism we share, how we feel about playing this game. We are
currently ranked US 15th, and also of note for this current tier, a
top 20 world and US top 10 Anub’arak heroic 25 kill. This level of
ranking is not new to us, we have been scoring respectable kills
since 2005; that's four years of consistency, and we don't plan on
slowing down anytime soon.

A little bit about us… Forlorn Legacy has maintained server first kills since our inception in early Vanilla WoW on the Windrunner realm. (Server first titles, anyone?) However, we gauge ourselves according to world ranked kills and playing as a team across the world level, the scope of this game for us falls upon that benchmark. We strive to achieve perfect play for the newest tier of content, while staying on top of our game using the previous tier. We pride ourselves upon playing our respective raid roles to their maximum potential, and we perform them well. The feeling of downing an encounter as a team is what keeps us coming back, and is what motivates us to put in work outside of raids, as well as play to the best of our ability in raids. Our members know their respective class as well as any player in any guild in the world, and we make damn sure that it doesn’t change. When you sign up to join here, it is understood that you are embarking on a journey of sorts; we want members to become a part of our community for the long run. We plan to play into Cataclysm, and eventually into a new game, ever improving and building momentum, are you capable of dedicating yourself to this?
What are you getting in to? When you apply with us, you immerse yourself into a well-oiled machine. We are incredibly efficient at weeding out the weak, and we will point out your flaws, solely for the sake of improving not only our own, but your end game experience. Yes, we will critique you if you are not up to our caliber, but believe it or not, it is in your best interest; you will have no fun playing here if you perceive dedication to this game as a chore! You can expect to test all PTR content with us, see the hardest encounters first, work around players of your skill caliber, and compete in a competitive atmosphere which breeds excellence. You will not feel like you are the only dedicated player in this guild. We have fun in this game and are very active outside of raid times; we want the same from you. If you don't enjoy this game as much as we do, are considering quitting, or if this is your "last shot" at raiding to see if you still enjoy it, then get the fuck out and apply elsewhere and waste their time, not ours. Forlorn Legacy is a community of players dedicated to yours and our own end game experience, and through this idealism, we are a community, still want to be a part of that?
What do we expect from you? While we share knowledge and help each other become better, we are not here to babysit you or hold your hand. You are expected to know statistics and traits of your class, how said traits apply to raids, and how you can best implement them. In other terms, you better know as much as we do about our classes, hopefully more. (We always want to improve too!)Showing up to raid with any and all consumable which may benefit your character is a bare minimum. If you are not double potting, using the best buff food/flask for every pull, then we do not want you. If you slack off during trash pulls and don’t pay attention to the raid, we don’t want you. If you rely on fish feasts because it’s only “a 5 dps loss”, then we sure as shit don’t want you. If you are not willing to respect for a certain encounter and play that spec as well as your typical raiding spec, we don’t want you. If you are not somewhat well-versed in playing an offspec role, we do not want you.
In order for your application to receive an honest and fair assessment, it MUST have the following;
-Viable raid professions
-Maxed reputations for raiding (Shoulder/ Helm enchants)
-Correct gemming/enchanting
-Correct glyhping/ talent spec for what you are trying to accomplish in your raid
-Experience with hard mode encounters, and/or the most difficult encounters the current tier offers
-If you have all of the above, then gear should not be an issue
-We spend time to read applications that you spend time to write; we are truly excited to find that perfect fit to our roster
Assuming you have meet all of the above-stated requirements, please read on... If you feel you can perform our job better than we can, or if you feel you can fulfill a role we currently require, by all means show us. We welcome competition from strong applicants for any class/role. We will be strong heading into Icecrown Citadel, and we are all anxious to see what challenges this instance will provide for us. That being said, we need skilled players like you to carry on our tradition of excellence.... Are you up to the challenge? Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is better than any other.
