Philosphy
Drunk in Public's (DiP) core purpose is to conduct FOCUSED, LIMITED-SCHEDULE RAIDING. The secondary goal is to create a laid-back, fun-loving community where members can organize additional activities and enjoy the game together. We're a sanctuary for former hardcore players whose real-life progression into adulthood, careers, marriage, and/or parenthood just doesn't play nicely with a hardcore schedule. The desire to see the content and achieve success as part of a team dies quite hard, so we aim to do as much as we can within a schedule that allows.

History:
DiP traces its roots back 5+ years to a group of friends raiding Kara together, and its 2night, focused raiding approach has persisted since then as have most of its officers and core members. We transferred from a low-pop server just before Mists of Pandaria released. While we enjoyed many tiers & years of successful raiding there, we decided that the niche we aim to fill is better suited to a high-pop server like Zul'jin. So, here we are, looking for more that fit our approach and can hack it raiding hard on a short sched.

Raiding:
The raid schedule is currently TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS from 8:30PM TO 11:30PM EST. Raiders are expected to come prepared, pay attention, and to give 100% effort 100% of the time. There is simply no time to screw around when you raid only 6hrs a week. Guild resources (gold, materials, voip) will be used to support raid team activities as much as possible.

Social Members:
Drunk in Public welcomes social members, though some basic rules of decorum will be enforced. There are sections of the forums for social members. Please speak to any member of DiP for a social member invite.
