“Hand Picked” Guild

Hand Picked is a 10man progression raiding guild on Alliance side Zuluhed. We are currently looking for players who want to progress, and get things done in HM's and in WoD. We are friendly community with fair-minded leadership based around real teamwork and camaraderie.

Current Progression: 10/14HM

The most desired classes/specs are:

Paladin - Holy or Prot
Priest - Shadow with strong offspec
Shaman - Any Spec


If your class is not listed above, it does not mean we will not consider you. If you believe that your skill set will rival or surpass those currently on our raid team please feel free to talk to us about joining. Please note that we are looking for strong players regardless of item level, and if you put the effort to learn, gear, and research your character than we are interested in you.

What we expect:

Attendance
When joining our team with the intention of progressions raiding we expect everyone to show up for all raids on time, and hold at least a 90% attendance rate. If for any reason you cannot make a raid we ask that you give advance notice.

Teamwork
A player who is committed to operating as part of a team, and someone who is given a role and executes this role. Someone who has the mindset when preforming these tasks within raid makes the rest of the team better, and thus helping down bosses. They must be humble enough to know we all can learn, and improve. Constructive feedback is an important tool for any raid team looking to progress through heroic modes, and having members who embrace, as well as, learn from it is key to overall success of the raid team.

Skill
Players with the ability to outperform their gear, and someone who is quick to pick up mechanics without a steep learning curve.

Commitment
We want everyone to show up because they genuinely want to be there, not because they feel obligated to do so. Maximum effort should be exuded from the start of raid to the completion, and have a willingness to adapt their gameplay to new strategies during the course of an encounter.

Preparedness
Everyone applying should have a solid understanding of their class, its abilities, and how they fit into every raid encounter. All members should understand every encounter as if they were leading the team themselves. Our guild bank provides 3 flasks, a stack of potions and top food for the whole raid.

Independence
Everyone in raid should not need hand holding for every little part of an encounter, and help cannot only come from others, it must also come from within. You should expect personal success will only come when you hold yourself accountable, and put in the hard work to overcome any adversity we may face.

What you can expect from us:

- An officer core that is dedicated to the well-being of the guild and its members.
- A core group of players that are focused on progression and dedicated to each other, and the guild.
- A group of people that enjoy each other, as well as, the game.

We do not use an application, instead we go through an interview process in Mumble. Please be prepared with any available logs that you have.
