How to chat with characters and guilds:

- open character or guild profile and click Follow link (green color)

- they'll receive a notification by email and if they want to chat, they should accept the invitation by following you back

- now "Send message" link will be active and you both will be able send messages to each other

- any time you can check your message history

Note that if you chat with a guild, all guild profile admins will be able to see the messages and all of them will be able to reply.

Following - what is that?


It lets you build your favorite list of guilds and characters.
Currently there is a watch list with news of guilds and characters that you're following - this list will be improved (work in progress).

The easiest way to check progress status of a guild is to look at the WoWProgress tooltips.

Examples:
H: Morchok (10,25) - means that Heroic Morchok was killed by the guild in both modes.

H: Morchok (10) - there was only 10-man kill so far.

H: Morchok (25) - there was only 25-man kill.

Please note that upgrade works only in one way (10->25), we won't be able to detect 25->10 case.

Some best practices to make sure that kills are added correctly:

1. 25-man guilds, please make sure that "25-man" checkbox was set in your guild profiles.

2. Collect all the loot so it appears in guild news feed. Do not DE automatically. A person should be designated to DE, and he should collect all the items that no one needed.

1. Advanced filters
Now it's possible to view alliance only / horde only ratings, filter rating list by amount of raiding days, language, recruitment classes.
Any rating list (world, US, EU, realm, etc) can sorted with the advanced filter form.


2. Better progress tooltips
These tooltips in common rating list now include raid size info.
If boss was killed in both modes it will show "10,25".

Raid format nearby the guild names also changed, it is now updated directly by guild progress.
Possible variants: 10, 25, 10/25, 25/10.


Also as you can see 10/25 boss kills detection has been improved greatly for Tier12!
Progress updater works very fast now with queue size close to zero and there is the new manual updater where you can add boss kills immediately, bypassing the queue.

P.S.
For guild profile administrators: update "Raids per week" field with actual value as it is now used for the rating lists!

- all guilds are included in common (combined) ranking

- if a guild killed less than 4 bosses in current content, then all kills must be in the same raid size category in order to be included in 10- or 25-man rankings

- if a guild killed 4 bosses then there should be no more than 1 kill in different category

- if a guild killed more than 4 bosses then there should be no more than 2 kills in different category within last 5 kills


The rules can be changed if there will be a reason, you are welcome to leave a feedback.

They are still experimental.

1. They are based on timestamps of achievement criteria in normal mode and timestamps of achievements in heroic mode.

2. 25-man kills most likely will be considered as 10-man for some time because not all characters being updated in the armory. Requeue guild updating in several hours.

3. If your first kill was 25-man, then you won't able to record next 10-man kill for 10-man rating (as there will be no new achievements in the armory).

4. If 25-man raid consists of players that have killed the boss in 10-man, then 25-man kill won't be recorded as there will be no new achievements in the armory.
(Though it's possible to record a kill if there will be like 15 players without 10-man achievements)
