Guilty Is Rebuilding!

Not a shitty Hollywood reboot! Something much better and more original! Guilty is a long standing semi-hardcore Raiding guild that focuses on balancing progress and maintaining a strong sense of community among its members both core Raider and Social; never a dull moment. After a short break, we are rebuilding our Raid team for ToS and we've got Mythic Cutting Edge: Kil'jaeden on our minds! Are you a player with a reasonably successful Raiding history who is coming back to the game after a long hiatus or even a short break? We are the guild for you! Are you a strong Raider currently who is just looking for an environment that balances progress, community, and you know .. actual fun, then we are the guild for you.

Realm: Silvermoon
Faction: Alliance

Raid Days/Times: W, Th, M (main Raid) 20:30-23:30 Server Time
Drunken Friday (not mandatory) 21:00-00:00 Sever Time

Note: we also have active M+ grps who run these dungeons almost every evening.

What you can expect from us

A consistent schedule - Guilty has been a 3 day (9 hours not including drunk Fridays) a week Raiding guild for the better part of 10 years. We plan to maintain a similar schedule for as long as WoW is relevant. We've had our ups and downs as is the case with most long standing guilds, but we've been Raiding Mythic since it's inception during MoP SoO and we currently have an eclectic team of Raiders and Officers who have experience Raiding at the highest level, so we're not going anywhere except up in the ranks!

FAIR PLAY! It's takes A TEAM of 20 people to kill Mythic bosses, so every Raider is valued equally according to his or her effort and every Raider is awarded equally and fairly based on that effort. #nofavortism Loot is distributed via a combination of EPGP/loot council. However, loot council only comes into play when the Raiders have the same epgp score which almost never happens AND the same gear. Sockets matter. Example; if two players have the same amount of EPGP and the same ilvl but one has a socket, the item will generally go to the one without the socket. We believe this is the fairest way to distribute loot as it cuts down on the drama and time spent arguing over who gets what. Keep in mind that reliability also factors in. Example, if the guy without the socket rarely shows up for a Raid and is totally unreliable the guy with the socket will very likely get the loot. Distributing the loot in any other way, in that case, would be counterproductive.

Communication - Guilty offers open lines of communication between it's members/Raiders and a very approachable GMistress as well as helpful and friendly Officers. If there is a problem, it will be solved in a friendly "no dramalama" fashion. The Mistress and her Officers are always open to suggestions and constructive criticism.

Goodies - All the requisite goodies will be made available to Guilty Raiders including guild repairs, feasts, cauldrons, and emergency enchants/gems where necessary. Special recognition is paid to those who help gather the materials for these things.

Trial period - We understand that guilds are as much on trial as the Raiders themselves. So we make it our mission to live up to our promises. We expect our trials to extend the same courtesy. Trial period typically lasts 2-3 weeks. During that time you will not be eligible for loot unless a member doesn't need it. A trial will always been given loot over disenchant or a Social. Keep in mind that you will be accumulating epgp during your trial which will give you lots of points to spend once you're promoted to Raider status. Pretty standard stuff right there.

What we expect of you

Reliability - A Raider's dedication to showing up makes him a very desirable Raider indeed. We understand that real life can sometimes make time management an issue, but this isn't a Casual Raiding environment. Progression is our focus, so dependable Raiders are of the utmost importance. Dependable players will get priority on Raid spots and loot, because it wouldn't be fair to give these things to someone who shows up when they feel like it.

Preparation - Mythic Raiding requires preparation in a way that N/HC Raiding does not. You are expected to put the required effort into researching your class/spec as well as collecting the appropriate AP, legendaries, trinkets, and using them appropriately for each and every boss to maximize output relative to your role. That said, so-called big dick deeps don't kill bosses. Tacticians with adequate dps do. We'll be watching to see whether you're soaking puddles, eating cakes, etc.

Also, it is imperative that you do your own research with respect to tactics; watching relevant videos or reading relevant articles. (my personal fave: Signs of Kelani, LoS Gaming, and even Fatboss ) Enchants and gems can and will be provided for you in a pinch, but you are expected to stay on top of these things. In other words, your toon should already be properly enchanted/gemmed when he/she steps through that raid entrance. Despite food and flasks being provided, you should have stacks of these on your own as back-up.

Patience and loyalty - Anyone who has Raided for an extended period of time understands that even the best of guilds can hit a wall or a road block if you will during progress particularly with Mythic Raiding is concerned. My personal experiences include 300+ wipes on Mythic: Mannoroth. Will still managed to get HFC Cutting Edge completed and we were only Raiding two nights at the time, so patience during wipe nights and during those times where progress stagnates is also very important with regard to successful completion of a tier at that level and this is something you should be honest with yourself and us about before joining. If you're the type of person who starts looking for a new guild after a couple of wipe nights, this guild isn't the place for you and we're both better off if you continue your search elsewhere.

Personality - Have one. We love Raiders who see WoW in Matrix code, but if you can't laugh at yourself or at least let others laugh at you, well .. what good are you really? EksDee. We like a little freekie-deekie in our Raideroonies, so if you're a stellar Raider and an absolute weirdo, come on over Rover. We'll be waiting for you.

What we have ZERO tolerance for: EGOISM

If you have one, check that shit at the the door. Nobody cares how awesome you were back in Vanilla. Show us how awesome you are now by being reliable, loyal, dedicated to making a significant contribution in terms of progress, offering relevant suggestions and constructive criticism, being prepared for the Raids in general and good if not exceptional at your class. If you do that, I'll personally make you a massive gold "da shiznit" star that you can hang in your bedroom over your bed and admire every night before you go to sleep!
