About us:

Zaroth is a guild with the sole purpose of balancing a real life with WoW. Many players have a family, a social calendar besides wow, some friends they might visit or maybe a demanding job. That’s why we raid a bit later then usually so not only WoW will be the focus of our evenings.

We are a guild with a strong leadership that has an extensive raiding experience from mainly the Burning Crusade and of course Wrath of the Lich King. The main focus is to clear all available content and farm it in preparation for new content and Cataclysm. Most importantly having fun while doing it.

Previously existed on Grim Batol - EU where we made ourselves a name for being a solid group of players who have the dedication and commen sense to make this game a bit better.

Raiding schedule:

While in progression mode, we raid a bit more than usually, when the content is on farm, we raid a bit less. Although we don't expect our members to prioritize raiding over real life, we do expect them to show up for raids, to be motivated, and to give their best in every raid.

We try to keep our raiding roster as small as possible to maintain a solid and constant raiding group for every raid. This is accomplished by recruiting people who can show up for raids often.

Raid days are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday (21 - 24:00 server time). Invites normally starts around 20:30

We use EPGP for loot distribution in 25 mans.

What we expect from you:

You are a person dedicated towards end-game raiding, striving to maximize your character, always performing at the top of your game. You must also be able to handle criticism and function in a dynamic environment where emphasis is placed on the individual and their contribution to the team. A solid background of prior raiding experience is a huge bonus.

- You must be minimum 16 years of age.
- You must possess a basic grasp of the English language, both spoken and written.
- You must own a stable PC and internet connection.
- You must be adequately geared to raid the content we're facing.
- You must have prior raid experience with the class/spec that you are applying with.
- You won't be bothered about wiping at new boss kills, you can take advice and instructions and actually use them in a situation.
- You must be able to at least sign-up for 2 raids a week (this dosent mean that you cant take a week off from raiding - as stated before - we are not a hardcore guild, and this is not a job)

If you can say “yes” to more then half of the above statements, then we welcome a application from you.

What you can expect from us:

- A strong leadership with a great knowledge in leading/managing high-end raiding guilds.
- A stable raiding environment with like minded people who are interested in reaching and clearing end-game content.
- A chance to rise quickly within the guild ranks and become an important part of it.

Recruiting priority:

We are currently extending the guild, in order to have a good and steady progression in Icecrown, so nearly all classes/specs are welcome to apply, but still, we are mostly looking for,

Paladin healer (high)
Shaman healer (medium)
Moonkin Druid (medium)
Resto Druid (medium)


Even if ur class's not listed above, apply if interested, exceptional players are always welcome in our mist.
