About Hydra
Hydra is a 10-man semi-hardcore raiding guild on Darkmoon Faire EU.
The guild was created by a small group of friends mainly wanting to play together beating whatever content Blizzard throws at us.
Most of us have been playing since the release of WoW and have raiding experience from every expansion.
With a proven track record in Dragon Soul, Cataclysm Hydra aims to do end-game heroic raiding content with a solid core of players that are in it for the long run.
If you just want some quick epics, this is not the place for you. Like most guilds, we wish to keep a healthy and mature atmosphere.
We are aware that everything isn’t that easy in practice, therefore, mistakes are allowed as long as they create improvement.

Hydra's Goal
We wanted to create a guild for those who enjoy the game and want beat difficult encounters while still maintaining a fun, helpful environment.
We raid 3 nights a week and plan to maintain the schedule throughout MoP.
Ideally we will build up a second raid team.
We still wish to have a social core of members in the guild.

Recruitment Status: Open for another progress raid team.
These class specifications should be regarded as preferences and not a strict guideline.
We will consider applications from all applicants that wish to join.

Social

Healers
- Restoration Shaman. (OS Enh. would be a plus)
or
- Restoration Druid.

Melee Dps
- Enhance Shaman. (Os. Rest. would be a plus)
- Warrior (Os Prot. would be a plus)

Ranged Dps
- Hydra is currently not looking for ranged dps.

Tanks
- Warrior
or
- Paladin

- Death Knight
or
- Druid
or
- Monk

What we expect from our Raiders
Hydra provides flasks, food and guild repairs.
- We expect our raiders to be there (in time).

-- Thursday 20.00-24.00
- They have a good knowledge and understanding of their class. You must be able to defend every choice you've made on talents and gear, as well as your Cd/spell priority.
- To look up (class/role specific) tactics for the bosses.
- To be able to communicate (speak/listen) on Teamspeak 3.
- Bring a mature attitude. Respect for your (non-)guildies.
- To follow the rules and terms of agreement of Blizzard. We follow all of Blizzards rules for this game, and we do not accept exploiting of any kind.

What we offer to our Raiders
- A group of experienced players with knowledge on all classes and specs willing to help people improve their gameplay.
- Progressive raiding yet in a social environment, we enjoy a laugh before/after encounters but our main goal is to land the kill.
- As mentioned above, food/flasks/guild repairs are provided.
- One of the best, yet the craziest raid leaders you'll ever meet. Our very own SYLUR!

- We are always open on social recruitment, we expect our social members to be mature.
- Currently looking for a Shaman/Warrior/Druid for our raiding guild.
