Hello there!
Global CD is a Horde guild on the RP-PVP server Defias Brotherhood. It was recently created by some (ex)hardcore players and friends. Most of us raided 5-7 days a week from vanilla up till cataclysm, with several realm first as result.
Due to time constraints most of us quit allong the way.
Now we are back! Being more focussed, more efficient and more kick-ass!
We are taking it one step further: 2-day mythic raiding!
Recruitment:
We are currently looking for:
- 2 Ranged DPS (Warlock, Mage, Priest)
- 1 Healer (Druid)
If you play a different class but Global CD is exactly where you want to be, you are very welcome to apply, too. We also take in social members of all classes/levels.
Raid Times:
Sunday and Wednesday 19:15 – 23:00
[Invites at 19:00]
Additionally, we offer regular flex raids which are optional and open to socials and alts. Difficulty (normal or heroic) as well as frequency depend on interest.
The Gobal CD point of view:
Our aim is to have a good raid atmosphere and but strict focus when we raid.
We believe you can achieve good progress while being friendly towards each other and that these two things actually go hand-in-hand when respecting each other’s time and effort. We use our raid hours efficiently and prepare strategies prior to raids, so we can offer 2-day raiding while being able to clear content of the highest difficulty well before big patch-days.
We all had very succesful raidteams from vanilla up till Cataclysm, being on top of the game nearly every content patch. Then most of us took a big break. But the officer team is back and strong and solid as ever!
When should you apply to Global CD
- Most importantly, you really want what we offer and do your part to achieve it: a raid team in which everyone can feel comfortable and that works efficiently and competitively.
- You’re reliable, on time and bring close to 100% attendance, so we can run with a small roster.
- You know what you’re doing and you’re willing to do a bit more than to just carry your own weight, in raids, during your own preparation and in strategy discussions.
- Your gear should be ready for raiding and a healthy mix of 630 and 640 items.
