“Wipe Material” Guild

<Wipe Material> was formed in late Mists of Pandaria as a casual friendly guild with some Semi-Hardcore raiders. Our goals for Warlords of Draenor was to clear content in whatever time it took provided we had fun in the process.
After finshing 13/13 Mythic in Hellfire Citadel, we decided it was time to "up our game", we decided that clearing current content at any pace was not satisfying our playerbase and instead we wanted to focus now on clearing content as fast as possible without sacrificing the fun and good times we have playing together - With some simple adjustments, we believe we're on the right track and with a small handfull of new, dedicated and good players, we can achieve our goal of clearing content fast and effectively.

OUR RAID DAYS/TIMES:
Currently we raid Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday between 20:00 – 23:00 although depending on progress on the night, we may ask raiders if they'd like to extend by around 30 minutes if we are on the edge of a new progress kill.


WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
We are a raiding guild. We expect applicants as well as members to always come prepared with consumables, a good attitude, and a high raid attendance. You will have to perform, read tactics, accept criticism, and show initiative in improving.

You want to raid: We are looking for people who really want to raid. If it’s the 10th consecutive night of progress wipes, you still want to be there and raid with us. If it’s the 100th clear of some boring instance, you are still willing to raid, and you’re thinking about how to beat the speed record. If one person doesn’t want it as bad as everyone else, the group will fail.

Know your class: The theorycrafting forums should be bookmarked and checked weekly, at the very least. If you constantly do 10-20% less damage than a similarly geared player of the same class, then you’re doing something wrong. And while your guild mates might try to help you, his/her purpose in life is not to teach you how to play.

We have no mandatory attendance, however we do encourage our raiders to raid 3 raids per week. Not doing so will not have an effect on your position in the guild, but might result in you being benched more frequently and/or missing out on loot assigned to you by the lootcouncil. Use the AFK forum to report any vacations/issues.

Maximize Your Character: We are serious about gems/enchants/professions/glyphs on characters. Whenever you recieve an upgrade you are to fully gem and enchant it.

NO DRAMA: Officers do not log on to be babysitters. We will not tolerate guild drama.
