About us

<Misfit> is a two-night-a-week Mythic raiding guild founded in Legion. Our raid team was formalised in ToS, and we have gotten every CE since.
We lost quite a few members in Eternal Palace, so we had to rebuild during the time of Ny'alotha and are looking to go back on track for our progress levels of top 400~ in Shadowlands while maintaining the same positive and wholesome environment that we've had throughout the whole time.

We have a very relaxed raid atmosphere - we laugh and joke a lot in between pulls(and to be honest often during the pulls themselves), and it’s important to us that we keep having fun while keeping up our progress. We don't take kindly to passive aggressiveness or any type of negative attitude in raids and if it happens, we make sure to deal with it quickly for it to not happen again.

Outside of raids, we enjoy bantering with each other on discord and just messing about. We have a pretty big variety in what people want to do, in the sense of M+/PvP/alts etc. or just random things like collecting battle pets. Some of us have pushed high end PvP to the point of R1/Glad, others have pushed high end M+ to the point of top 10 of their class in the region. And we even have a couple of people that have collected almost every battle pet!

Something to note is that we're not a hardcore guild, we're not overly expecting of our members (we just expect people to be of similar performance level of each other really) and we don't do any split runs or any of the sort. We've managed to build a guild with good players that we manage to kill bosses in decent time, with the atmosphere in our raids and making sure we have fun while doing so being the highest priority for the guild and if we get even higher ranks while doing so that's great! That said, of course everyone prefers to kill bosses faster rather than slower!

Our raid times are:

Mon: 20:00 – 23:30
Weds: 20:00 – 23:30

We don't raid more than this. We don't have an "Optional-not-optional" heroic day or anything like that.

What do we want from you?

1) A good understanding of your class and willingness to research the fights we are going into and your role in them. We always link brief videos for you to watch, and it is expected raiders will find at least 15 minutes to watch them prior to progress raids.

2) A good attitude to the game and raiding in general. Everyone in the guild is friendly and our discord is usually a place we all go if we just fancy hanging out during the day. Morale in raids is always high regardless of the difficulty of the fight.

3) High attendance. Attendance is an important part of mythic raiding, especially keeping a consistent roster on later bosses. We require near 100% attendance, as we like to keep a smaller roster ideally.

4) Being able to accept feedback. We're not elitist, and quite frankly we despise any notion of that. That said, being able to listen to feedback is important in any raiding environment, and after every pull we'd want everyone to be honest about their mistakes if it causes a wipe, as it's important to know if it's a tactics error and something needs to change or if it's just player mistakes.

5) Decent current/past raiding experience is helpful but not required as long as you can show good promise. Some of our best raiders started as HC raiders that we accepted during last bosses progression.
