Raiders of the Lost Orc
Alliance
EU Dragonblight
Formed November 2006
10 man raiding
Thursday and Monday nights
19.45ST to 23.00ST
Progress - 14/14 SoO
Restrictions - 18 years and over
Raiders of the Lost Orc are recruiting a handful of exceptional players to help support our raiding progress through heroic modes. We cleared all normal content in WoTLK and Cataclysm, reaching 8/12 ICC heroic and 2/8 DS heroic. We desire similar progress in Mists of Pandaria.
We are a relaxed but dedicated and committed 10-man raiding guild with a strong social core. Our aims are to down every 10-man encounter in the game and to earn some 10-man achievements to stretch and test ourselves.
We're looking for a select few who will bring a lot to the guild alongside their raid performance - we want committed, mature players who know how to have fun and work as part of a well-ordered team. We're looking for highly skilled players, but not at the cost of everything else. We're looking for all-rounders who can perform well but also want to get involved, get to know people, form close bonds and be a full and important part of the guild.
We're not into drama or faceless guildies. We currently have about 50 accounts in the guild (raiders and social members), keeping it small and friendly. Our guildies often do lots together outside of raiding - heroics, achievements, social events (in-game AND IRL - optional!) and that's the way we like it. RoTLO is over 30% female and the average age of our members is around 30-35. The majority of our guildies are from the UK and Ireland, though we also have a strong European component with guildies hailing from the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland. We even have guildies in Australia, Israel and Canada!
You will form an important part of our raiding team and round out our options. You won't get a guaranteed spot on every raid, but we are recruiting to make sure that the success of our guild runs never rests on any individual's shoulders and the more commitment you give us, the more we will give you. We currently raid twice a week on Thursdays and Mondays from 7.45-11ST.
We're looking for a few great players to ensure we retain a stable raiding core to enable us to reach our full potential although any exceptional applications will be considered. Tanks, Warlocks, DKs, Shammies & Monks are particularly underrepresented currently.
