“Synergy” Guild

Soft-core Raiders

Synergy is a "semi-hardcore" raiding guild. We are mature players with a great deal of WoW experience, from diverse backgrounds in and out of game. We take our raiding seriously, but keep the mood light.

We try to maintain a raiding team of 13-16 players. We aim to clear all Heroic raiding content, and will usually try for something approaching an optimal setup when it comes to our boss of the moment.

Raiding

We raid on Thursdays and Sundays from 19:55 to 23:00 Server Time. All raiders are expected to be available for most raids. We understand that sometimes Real Life must come first. All we ask is that you let us know, with as much notice as possible, when you are going to be absent so everyone else isn't left waiting around.

Synergy belongs to its members.

This is a core principle of our guild. Becoming a Raider in Synergy is more than just joining the raiding team; our Raiders are our officers and every major decision is made by a vote. Our leaders, Soifon, Tohti, Groaninronin, Darrvin and Laatutakuu, serve the administrative needs of the guild, and possess a deciding vote in the event of guild-wide indecision.

Trial Period

If your application is accepted, you will be invited into the guild on a trial basis for about one month. During this time, we will get to know each other and it will quickly become apparent whether or not you belong in Synergy. Trialists are immediately part of the raiding team and minimal vote in guild decisions.

Small Raiding Team

To minimise the risk of cancelled raids, we like to have a team of raiders that are as adaptable as possible. While it is not a requirement of our recruitment, it is preferred that players of classes capable of multiple roles be willing and able to maintain a viable offspec and be prepared to use it when needed.
