Seven Sins - Recruitment for Wrath Of The Lich King, 25 Man raid instances (12/13 Ulduar Heroic)

Guild History

TBC

Seven Sins was a prominent raiding guild during the TBC era of the game. Much content was cleared in a mature and fun manner, at a fast pace. We saw Kael and Vashj die before we entered MH and BT, which many guilds can’t lay claim to. We continued at a fast pace onwards and cleared through MH and eventually Archimonde fell, after numerous attempts at making people understand fire hurts. We worked our way through BT up to Reliquary of Souls. Unfortunately, like many good things, it came to an end prematurely due to the recruitment problems that are experienced by most guilds during the summer months, coupled with a few officers having to leave due to real life problems, it spelled the end of Seven Sins, or at least that’s what we thought..

WOTLK

We started Wotlk with a social base, and planned to venture into 10mans, which we did with great success clearing all content bar Sarth 3 drakes very quickly. After having farmed our fair share we entered Ulduar with good solid progress. As we kept on raiding, we became unfulfilled with only doing 10mans, and with the constant question and ex members asking if we would go 25man, we finally buckled due to the high deman and re-made Seven Sins into the Heroic 25man raiding guild it is today.

Now with experience under our belts, we are looking to expand into 25man content, and build up back into the respected and successful guild it once was.

Currently we are progressing through Ulduar Heroic 25man and have recently reached Yogg-Saron. We aim to carrying on clearing Ulduar, and progressing the guild into a position where we can rival those currently at the top in both skill, and gear level. After Yogg-Saron falls (Hopefully soon) we will aim to complete the various hard modes that add an element of difficulty to the encounters we already farm.

Raid Days and Times:

We Currently raid 4 times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 20:00 -23:00 game time. We operate off-raids on Fridays and Mondays giving our hardcore raiders a chance to raid more, whilst our more casual ones can rest. Having a short 3 hour raid on 4 days, means that the duration of the raids is short, so we focus mainly on quality rather then the quantity of wiping over and over again grinding encounters down.

Recruitment Needs:

Seven Sins, is looking for mature people, around the age of 20 years and above, who are fully in-control of there play times and connections. This isn’t to say if you are below this age you wont be considered, how ever you will have to work hard to convince us that your of a mature and dedicated level, that matches that of our own. A strong mentality, that can accept constructive criticism without being easily offended or taking it to personally is needed, as we strive for excellence in our raiding environment, very much with the ideal that quality is better then quantity, when it comes to the length and frequency of our raids.

Our specific class needs and specs are as followed:

A Druid, Balance. A good off-set feral or resto gear is a big plus.

A Warlock, Destruction. We wouldn’t say no to a talented Affliction warlock, but they would have to work hard to convince us that there pve raiding spec, benefit’s the raid more then the high dps currently associated with a Destruction one.

A Warrior, Fury. We wouldn’t say no to a skilled Arms warrior, but again like the warlocks affliction, you would have to show us you can do the business.

A Paladin, Retribution. Good off-set holy gear would be a plus.

A Shaman, Enhancement. We would also consider an exceptional Restoration application.

A Priest, Holy. An ability to play Discipline well as an off-spec is a must.

A Deathknights , Unholy. Someone who can push there dps to the max in their currently well balanced state.

We also wouldn’t say no...

To a Hunter with an ability to push there dps to the max, and with a good knowledge of all specs, preferably either Marksmanship or Beast Mastery

We don’t often divert from these needs, but if you feel you can deliver an exceptional application , and you can bring something abit special to our guild, then by all means apply to us.

Information on specific up-to-date recruit needs can be found at http://www.sevensinsguild.com/home.php in the top right hand corner.

If this sounds like the guild for you, then drop us an application at http://www.sevensinsguild.com/viewforum.php?f=2 . Please take your time when applying, if you haven’t bothered to take the effort to run your application through a spell check, then we wont take the time to read it.

For more information contact Akillas, Chaosx, Cizane, Sayumi or Sla either in-game or via PM on our forums. Naturally all of our members, are equipped with the knowledge to help any enquiries, so if an officer isn’t online, feel free to contact a member.
