“Bag for Life” Guild

Bag for Life is a semi-hardcore, weekend raiding guild, created for Shadowlands. The guild consists of multiple players who have raided at a Top 100 level in the past, as well as an officer team which has led guilds to Top 100 ranks in the past.

We want to:

Raid 2 days per week. Each raid lasts 4,5 hours, including a 15 minute break in the middle. This means we only raid 9 hours per week, so it is extremely important that you turn up prepared, on time and ready to go.
We will always strive to kill bosses as fast as possible within our raiding hours.

Avoid split runs. First of all, we love alts. Just not for progression. No one is required (although encouraged) to have multiple characters to apply or maintain a raiding position in Bag for Life.

Have an enjoyable raiding atmosphere. We wish to clear the raids while having a laugh, and without rage induced arguments during the raid.

What you bring to the table.
Our ideal recruit is someone who considers himself:

Selfless. We don’t care about your dps, do the fight right. Killing the boss is a team effort and requires team players. You will not put personal ego ahead of the guild.

Dependable. Although we can't expect 100% attendance from every player, it's very important as a weekend raiding guild which only raids two days, that you realise the commitment you are making. We expect players to have 95% attendance for our raids, as any day wasted due to loss of x classes is extremely detrimental to our raiding hours.

Prepared. We try to not waste too much time during raids. Research for bosses is something you do before the raid. Once we pull the boss, we expect you to know what’s coming your way. Having extensive knowledge of your class, comes without saying.

Mature. You can handle criticism directed at you, even if you feel it is not warranted. Whilst we do not recruit for the bench, accept that in a guild with more than 20 players, sometimes you might have to sit out. No one has a guaranteed spot. We’ve benched tanks, healers and dpsers for a boss because we felt it improved our chances of killing it.

Raid invites go out 15 minutes before start(13:45) you are expected to be online and in the raid 10 minutes before the official raid start time.
