“Ascent” Guild

To clarify; we are open to all classes as our recruitment needs change regularly. 90% of the time, our recruitment needs are very specific, as we are a 10 man guild and do not like to saturate our roster.
That said, here is a brief summary of our background and our aims.

Guild Background

Originally formed in May 2011 as a social, 2 nights a week raiding guild, we have since modified our schedule to a more progression focused one (3/week). Created by Woksy and Skycaster, the aim was to provide a 10 man raiding experience which focused on getting bosses down, but having an enjoyable experience while doing so. Ascent is currently lead by Amaranthé, though previously it has been under the management of Toílet, Lysty, Artemíz and Skycaster.

As of June 2012, Damiën/Amaranthé is guild master and raid leader, and Yack, Leffé and Pehmil are the guild officers.

Our progression is currently:

5/13 Heroic Tier 11 (12/12 Normal)
6/7 Heroic Tier 12 (7/7 Normal)
8/8 Heroic Tier 13 (8/8 Normal)

6/7 Firelands Heroic in current content.
Glory of the Firelands Raider.
Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider.
Realm-level competitive kills in Dragon Soul release.

Raid Schedules are as follows:

Wednesday and Thursday with Sunday and Monday set aside for alt raids or extension - from 19:45 - 23:00 - We expect raiders to be online and available from 19:40 realm time.

We operate a loot council system, as well as free guild repairs, flasks and food for all raiders.

In cata ascent has been raiding purely 10 man raids,
in MoP we wish to change this to 25 man raids.

We use a application system wich can be found on ascent-lightbringer.ejin.com. At this moment we are looking for skilled and experienced raiders to help us set up our 25 man team for MoP. Knowledge of tactics in MoP is required. For information you can talk to Yack, Leffé, Pehmil, Humhum or Damiën/Amaranthé on the lightbringer realm.

Ascent's current goal is to become a Top 10 guild on Lightbringer, giving all members a chance to experience content while it is current.
