Who Are We?

<Try Not To Smile> comprises of raiders of all world ranks, ranging all the way to top 30. We believe in having fun during raids, which means that memes and banter are obviously welcome in the guild and having a thick skin is a requirement. You'll often see us chilling on discord outside of the raids and outside of playing WoW in general and if people are interested we love to run laid back and relaxed alt raids but are definitely not mandatory.

Our Goals and Requirements

While our aim is not to go hardcore and do everything possible to advance our world ranks/server ranks, we have set ourselves the goal of reaching at least top 300 world. We all want to have fun and have plenty of memes and banter, but that comes with the expectation, that when necessary, you can focus on the task at hand. We don't require alts so we expect you to be able to play your main at a proficient level. Anyone that wishes to play an alt and keep it geared is welcome to do so, and if it suits the fight/encounter you may be asked to play it in certain situations.

Our Approach

-No mandatory alt raids or alts
-No mandatory PTR or Raid testing
-Laidback but still goal-oriented
-Memes and banter where possible, but focus and determination when necessary
-No extending, no over time, no extra days
