We have stopped raiding for the forseeable future

About us:
Cynical is a guild of experienced raiders, many of us having started playing since the very start of the game. We emphasize making progress in a timely manner and having a good social atmosphere.

This is not a new or migrated guild and the core of the team has been raiding together and achieving CE every tier so far since start of Legion until current SL content. You can check this in our progress including videos attached to these kills.

We would like to maintain a balance between RL and WoW, therefore we only raid three times a week. When we do raid we try to get stuff done and kill bosses, while still having a fun and friendly atmosphere. This social aspect often expands to other games as well.


Loot system:
With the introduction of forced personal loot, we changed to a loot council policy where people are more in control of which loot they want to keep. We do however encourage our players to trade loot to the people who benefit the most from it.

We keep track of everyone's gear needs and utilize this for our setup drafts to optimize gearing for progression.

Raid times:
Thursday, Sunday, Monday, 20:00-23:00 Server time (CET/GMT+1)

Setups for the nights will be shared before the raid. Invites are going out 15 minutes prior to start. We also strictly don't do overtime and respect it if you need to leave after 23:00.

In addition to this we host an optional heroic raid on Wednesday. This is mostly a fast clear with the aim to gear raiders that still get upgrades from heroic. These Wednesday raids are generally opened up for socials later in the tier.

What kind of players are we looking for:
- Able to commit to the raid times (atleast for the current raid tier)
- Mature in age, mind and play
- English speaking, able to express themselves and understand us
- Know their class and spec, always max their character to the fullest (consumables, daily & weekly chores, etc.)
- Quick learners, able to take feedback and willing to improve or adjust

On top of these minimum requirements are the other intangibles such as having a good sense of humour, willing to step up and help out with whatever needs being done, not causing any drama or grief over loot.
