About Us

MoX is a guild that has been around since the early days of April 2005, While we have some new members there are many that have been with us for several years and continue to raid to this day or around as social members for a laugh now and then. Throughout the guild we have a large selection of members who seek out their own interests in game, whether it be achievements, pvp or just hanging around for a laugh, as well as the group of the guild who aim for endgame raid progression. We have a rich and elaborate history including taking and battling for many of the Old Content. In Vanilla at Naxx 40 we ended server 2nd and Horde 1st. In TBC we had lots of server firsts including the ones we have taken at Wotlk. From Server first clears of SSC to being narrowly beaten on server first Kil'Jaeden we have pretty much seen everything and enjoyed the competition that the alliance guilds of our realm provides. As a free thinking market based economist I believe the power of competition is something that can improve our efficiency and help push us in a better direction. During our time in Wotlk we have taken down every piece of content

The current spectrum of MoX members includes its large amount of working professionals, students and the like and with that in mind and the hours that people put in each week, we cannot screw around when it comes to killing a boss or achieving something. As raid leaders, officers and human beings we will be responsible in your use of time, because the assumption isn’t made that you infinite amounts of time. We do our best to keep raids starting on a tight schedule and usually set a dedicated pull time to make sure we get off to a positive start in our raids. We have a large selection of players within the guild, including a large amount of friends and ex raiders who stop by just for a chat, we like to think of ourselves as more than a guild, but as a home to a large variety of players.

About You

We ask that you be skilled, dedicated, mature and be willing to join debate and share your ideas with us. If you are a fan of making drama for the sake of drama please do not apply. It is important that we fully explain the term skilled as not to leave it open to interpretation. This involves the ability to learn from your mistakes and not to repeat them and are able to take note of your surroundings and adapt to something that is happening in any encounter we face. Also with the changes in MoP with no perks like mass summon, Cauldrons n such, we expect you to be prapared for each raid, having your own flasks, and buff-food.

It is imperative that you actually enjoy the game and simply do not just login for raids and then logoff as soon as they are finished. There is much to be done when not raiding and things that you should be putting your time into because they make you a better player. Farming consumables is one of these such activities. A raider without consumables when they are needed is an unprepared raider. In MoX we use an interesting system of publicising the guild bank to assist raiders with the spares we have. Using the funds of the gbank and donations of spares from other guild members we build up a supply of Meats, Foods,Pots,Eternals,Herbs and almost anything we can get our hands on to assist raiding. It works under the principle of if we help us, we will help you. Although raiders should be doing this themselves to come prepared, consider this as a backup or if you have problems we will be willing to help and to use the materials gathered to help go for our objectives.

You should be willing to help your guildmates, participate in the social atmosphere and go under the realisation that we are all on the same team. We try to promote aiming for end game objectives but trying to make the guild and raiding not feel like your second job. The social aspect and being able to socialise is definitely a characteristic that we would be looking for. Under this reason it is important that you have the ability to understand written and spoken English and reciprocate it back to other guild members.

Our raid days are from Monday till Thursday 19:00~23:00 Server time. Rest are free
