“Floating Goats” Guild

Floating Goats (formerly Safety not Guaranteed on Emerald Dream)

Floating Goats is a new guild made by a group of friends and former guildies with an emphasis on mythic raiding and a healthy and enjoyable social atmosphere. Our raiders have multiple years of experience with mythic raiding, having achieved CE in BoD and Nya'lotha.


The goal of Floating Goats is to establish a competent, stable, and social raid team to push into mythic raiding, starting with Sanctum of Domination. We aim to achieve CE each tier, but we are not trying to be a top 100 world guild. We will get there at our own pace.

Thursday 20:00-23:00 (first 2 weeks of new raids)


We expect the following from our raiders:

- Dedication -

We require people to be reliable and dedicated towards reaching CE. This means a high attendance, a willingness to research fights ahead of time, showing up prepared for raids (food, pots, flasks, enchants, gems etc.), getting your weekly vault done and the ability to admit when you make a mistake and work towards correcting it. Being vocal on voice comms when it is required is also mandatory for raiders – we don’t expect you to talk at all times but if you have a job and something goes wrong, you have to be able to tell us before it’s too late. All raiders should also be prepared for and willing to sit out during progression. Raid comps are made based on what we think will kill the fight fastest, so don’t throw a fit if you get benched. Once bosses are on farm, we will rotate players so everyone gets the kill eventually.

- Friendliness -

We emphasise a friendly and social atmosphere both in and outside of raids. Any kind of toxic behaviour is taken seriously by the officer team. If anyone feels uncomfortable or have issues with other members of the guild, they should feel able to talk to any of the officers, so the problem can be resolved efficiently.

- Honesty -

We will always be open towards suggestions on what we can do better or differently. If you think we are doing something wrong during an encounter, someone is doing something that seems odd or you think of something that can improve our strategy, you should feel free to communicate this to the officers. We will always try to improve, be it minor or major changes that needs to be done.
If you are unable to make it to raids let an officer know as soon as possible, so we can make any adjustments needed as quickly as we can. This is just a game and real life does still have priority so if shit hits the fan in real life, let us know so we do not sit there wondering where you went.

Trials will run for 2-3 weeks.
