“Quantum Mechanics” Guild

Quantum Mechanics, a friendly and social guild is recruiting more people to join our team for ToS!

Currently we are 7/9M & 9/9 HC and have been steadily progressing so far.

We raid three times a week, on Wedensday, Sunday and Tuesday between 20.00 - 22.30 realm time. We provide free flasks, feasts, Vantus Runes, codexes and repairs for the raids. Because we provide all of this, we occasionally boost heroic runs.

We have a Guild Discord that is active, we spend a lot of time there, either for social aspects or because we are doing something together, such as mythic+, timewalking or, of course - raiding.

The atmosphere during raids is very positive and calm, and we do not tolerate any yelling or screaming at each other. We push towards a friendly environment, so that we all can enjoy raid nights. Even though we are very friendly and calm during raid, we are also striving to become more serious and progress content while it’s current and still challenging. Because of that we do have a few requirements from everyone that raids with us:

Fight knowledge - Know each and every fight in advance. This means looking up guides and asking guild mates. We will provide the video links that use the tactics we will follow, but we do recommend looking these things up by yourself as well.

Respect and attendance - When you sign up for a calendar event we expect you to show up on time and prepared. This is to not disrespect the rest of the people. When you sign up for a raid you have a personal responsibility to make sure that you are there on time and that you keep us updated if something were to happen. There are 19 other people relying on you.

If you were to sign up for a raid and then not show up you are being disrespectful towards the raid team that does show up, the raid leader that has been preparing, and the guild management that has taken time to setup a raid team and make it all work. We expect everyone to have close to perfect attendance because this is a mythic guild after all. However, we of course understand that real life can get in the way of raiding, and that is fine - we are all human.

Patience - Mythic raiding involves a lot of wipes, as in, a lot, and it can make everyone frustrated. Being able to keep your cool and not yell or rage is very important. The Officers are always discussing what can be changed, what went good and what went less good after each wipe, so that we can make the appropriate changes. As mentioned above, we have zero tolerance against any kind of harassment, and if we see such you will be removed from the raiding team, and possible the guild if it continues. If you feel like someone is performing poorly there are two alternatives - whisper the Officers and/or whisper the person - in a friendly way - explaining what they did wrong or what can be done differently.

The guild has a two week trial period, meaning we expect you to show up for all of those 6 raids and perform your best. After that trial period is over, your performance will be evaluated by the Officers and Guild Master, and from there we will determine if you fit the guild.
