About <Failboat>
Failboat was formed on October 15th, 2007. It was created to be a place for friends to play together and have fun.

The core (10-15 people) of the guild consists of experienced WoW players, many of whom have played since the US beta, and most of us have played together for a couple of years, some even going back as far as the Dark Age of Camelot. We come from many walks of life, some of us are hardcore in the sense of /played, and likewise others are just as casual in the same sense. The core of the guild have raid experience that goes from Zul'Gurub all the way through Naxxramas, upto Serpentshire Caverns and Tempest Keep.

We are therefore a tight bunch, comprised of long time players and real life friends, who value one anothers company as much as we value each others skills.

Being "Casual"
Failboat is a "casual" guild. That means that we do not have any raid attendance requirements. You choose when you want to raid (if you want to at all). Real life goes up and down, and most people cannot say for 4 months in advance "yes, I can attend 4 raids, every week for 4 months", and neither should you have to.

We do not force specs on on people, everyone pays for the game, and are free to enjoy it as they see fit. But by the same token, we expect people to be receptive on feedback on performance. We do not recruit or form raids, for "optimal" performance. In the end, the player behind the char will have a much larger impact then any class/talent choices could have. If you can perform in your build, then that's fine with us.
