Reunion is a progression-oriented raiding guild, formed in December 2011 by a core of experienced raiders and old-time friends who decided to band together and play in an atmosphere of mutual respect and fairness. Many of our current members have been playing the game since the release of Classic WoW in Europe in 2005; most of us have participated in the cutting edge of progression content across multiple expansions. We aim to provide a stable and friendly environment for our members as we chase the highest levels of end-game raiding available in WoW.

We raid five days a week on progression, Sunday to Thursday from 20:00 to 00:00 server time (19:00 - 23:00 GMT). Fridays and Saturdays are usually free (except for exceptional circumstances).

It is our firm belief that following a heavier raid schedule for progression achieves superior results and allows for more relaxed and satisfying raiding on farm content. With this in mind, our raid times are chosen with the aim of giving our members ample time to come home from their work or studies, as well as get enough sleep at night. We seek to maintain a healthy balance between successfully raiding in WoW and our responsibilities outside the game.

A little bit about us and our history. After creating the guild in December 2011, we spent a few weeks building up our roster; our first guild raid took place on the 15th of January. Despite the constant flow of trials in the first weeks of raiding, we progressed rapidly, defeating Spine of Deathwing HM on the 21st of February, after only five resets of raiding together. It was also then that we defined one of our main principles as a guild - avoiding voluntarily facing nerfed content - and elected to switch off the "Power of the Aspects" nerf until we had fully cleared the instance.

The following reset we extended our Dragon Soul lockout and progressed on Madness of Deathwing HM, eventually reaching 4% in the second phase on the 29th of February. However, that very reset we suffered a setback when our warrior tank and our paladin healer quit raiding due to their inability to handle the pressure of raiding 5 days/week. Despite needing to rebuild our roster and train new members, we chose not to compromise our principles and kept the DS nerf switched off on Madness HM until finally defeating the encounter on the 10th of April. We remain the only guild on the server to achieve their first Madness HM kill with the DS nerf switched off.

Outside of progression raiding, we are committed to providing a varied and involved schedule. Many of our members are avid achievement hunters, and older instance raids are commonly found on our schedule, ranging from T11-12 to past expansion content. Whilst our schedule during farm content is certainly more relaxed, we firmly believe in keeping ourselves sharp and not taking prolonged breaks from raiding at any time. Lastly, we are and will continue to be active on beta realms (and eventually, PTR), putting a lot of emphasis on the importance of testing new encounters as they become available.

With the release of Mists of Pandaria, we seek to expand our roster with like-minded people to clear all raiding content in the current tier and beyond. Classes we're currently interested in are:

  • 1 Elemental Shaman.
  • 1 Shadow Priest.
  • 1 Rogue.
  • 1 Mage.
  • 1 Tank.

  • 1 Tank.
  • 1 Healer (Priest or Paladin preferred).

Classes not listed are still encouraged to apply, as our roster is quite flexible and we will always try to fit an exceptional player into our ranks if your application impresses us. As usual, ability to play multiple specs (when applicable) is preferred.

Do apply if:
  • your primary reason for playing WoW is, and will always remain, raiding;
  • you don't get frustrated by wiping on progression content and don't give up until finally getting a kill;
  • you prefer to raid in a focused and organized manner and don't like to needlessly wipe for months on easy encounters;
  • you don't like hearing "I can't be bothered making an effort" from others and therefore don't use it yourself;
  • you do your best to maximize your character's potential at all times;
  • you want to be a part of a group that prioritizes mutual friendship and the social aspect of the game very highly.

Don't apply if:
  • you have no patience for wiping on hard content;
  • you think ilvl is your most important stat and augment it with subpar PvP gear when superior PvE gear is available;
  • you are obsessed with getting loot to the exclusion of all other considerations;
  • you're planning to quit WoW in a month;
  • you are 10 years old;
  • u r0ut1n3ly talk liek dis, cos its awesum, duuuude;
  • you think that "trolling" anybody, including and especially your fellow guild members, is in any way a good idea.
