“Devious Intentions” Guild

Salutations and welcome to Devious Intentions!

We're a guild that went through a lot of development over the last months. After having the usual "new guild" problems, we were able to form a formidable raid core that was able to achieve 7/10M in Castle Nathria and we are now aiming for Cutting Edge in Sanctum. Currently we have beaten 8/10 HC and 1/10 M.

We do a 10 minute break at 21:00 for people to clear their heads, go for a smoke, refresh their beverages and so on. This has been proven to increase the overall quality of our raids.

We always welcome exceptional players of any class or spec for our mythic progress. While we try to optimize our roster for every encounter, we understand that we are not a Top 10 guild pushing for world first. Therefore, we prefer to bring the player and not the class.

What can you expect from us:

• Flat hierarchy (instead of a GM/Officer setup, we run a council of five players). This leads to fast and easy solutions.
  
  
• We highly respect receiving (constructive) feedback and love to give it as well. Honesty, transparency and clarity are key to success.
  
  
• A unique improvement cycle lead by one of our council members. (More to that in our discord)
  
  
• We aren't just a guild, we are a community. We also do play other games together, like Among Us events, League of Legends, Pummel Party... The list goes on.
  
  
• We have a very friendly and atmosphere going on. - As we only raid progression two days a week, we try to maximize our effiency. Pulls are focused and we keep banter for trash fights or in our break.
  
  
• Highly organized preparation for raids (tactic summaries, ERT notes for healer, raid signups via discord)
  

What do we expect from you:

• Know what it takes to raid CE. That includes, but is not limited to:
  
  
• Staying up to date with your class via class discord/guides.
  
  
• Know how to prepare for a boss fight
  
  
• How to use simcraft/raidbots and how to read warcraftlogs
  
  
• High attendance to progression raids. Of course, real life sometimes gets into the way. Everyone of us has responsibilities outside of the game.
  
  
• Thinking outside of the box. We don't want details/parse warriors. We want people that play the mechanics correctly and then push some serious dps as well.
