“Forerunners” Guild

Introduction

<Forerunners> is a relatively new raiding guild that was formed quite shortly after Nighthold was released. We have a clear vision of where we want to go and what we need to get there. The leaders and the raiding core of the guild consist of very experienced and ambitious players that are very including and social outside of raids.

Our current aim is to reach top 10 on the realm ladder, but we will make new goals as we reach our previous ones. To reach those goals we enforce a focused and mature raiding atmosphere with focus on progression with no room for toxic behavior. Outside of raids on the other hand we do myth+ and other activites in a more relaxed and social manner.

Our raiding hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 19-22 (Realm Time / CET).
We expect high attendance and that everyone who signs up for the raids intend come prepared in terms of flask, food and having done the required research for the encounters we plan to do. Recruitment

We dont want to be too spesific in terms of classes and specs, as the priority will always be the performance of the people we try out for our raiding group. What we prefere though is 1 healer (Resto Shaman / Holy Priest) and a few more DPS (Mage, Demon Hunter, Rogue, Hunter, Death Knight, Boomkin, Warrior Paladin and Priest). We will always need more DPS in order to have some level of internal competition, which is vital for any competitive team in any game or sport.

The two reasons we require an application is because it makes it easier for the leaders to keep track of the trials we have, and most importantly, it shows that you are willing to put in a bit of work to be part of our guild. Laziness is frowned upon.

The Community

As a raiding group we aren't purely focused on the ability people have to raid in terms of performance and knowledge. To be fair, they are quite vital if you want to be part of this group, but you also have to fit into the group socially. We dont allow people to bring negative/toxic behavior into the raid in order to keep a focused and mature raiding atmosphere.

We have an active discord channel and use it mainly to do Myth+ dungeons and other activities in the game together, but we also like to just hang out, which will make it alot easier for new members to get to know people and not just experience the serious/focused aspect of the group.
