Who are we?
Jailer Baited is a semi-hardcore guild whose goal is to compete as a top performing guild on a 2 Night a week raiding schedule.

Where do we come from?
Jailer Baited was formed just prior to Shadowlands by a small team of players that have played together for many many years. Previously raiding in top 100 world guilds (Glue-Saurfang/Exile-Draenor/Supremacy-Saurfang) on ridiculous schedules that life can no longer humour. We’re all a bit older and having actual constraints and responsibilities in our life means a change of outlook. Along the way we've picked up and met some incredibly kind and talented players and after weathering two nearly complete disbands, this is our strongest iteration yet.

Our reasons for coming together vary, but a big factor for us was that our original experience was focused around community and that’s what we can all remember - the laughs. Raiding 6 days a week just to beat server-first seemed like a great idea at the time but as we’ve grown up, priorities have changed.

We’ve realised that what we actually want is a wholesome and sociable community without the gripping time demand that previous iterations of wow have required so instead our goals will be this:

Cutting Edge every tier as competitively as possible on a 2 night schedule, with a laugh along the way.

Unfortunately 9.0 was a missed opportunity, with us starting mythic progress late due to our server transfer we progressed to P3 on SLG and a number of our players started burning out, we unfortunately called the tier before getting Sire down - we won't be making the same mistake again. 9.1 will be hit running, we are recruiting heavily to get into mythic straight away and get early progress. We are looking for players who are capable of keeping up and getting CE as soon as we can.

Who do we want right now?
We want any class, any spec that is played well, with a focus on DPS - though we are currently running very full on melee and are looking for a couple more ranged. We are not competing in World First Kills and you are not expected to run 50 Mythic Plus run's a week but we are expecting you to play your class to a high standard, not fail to repeated stupidity and put in at least the minimum effort to your character each week to stay competitive.

Social Officer
Our aim is to build the social side of the guild heavily but this will require the hire of a social officer to lead and organise alt and social raid nights plus our Panic Station event on a Tuesday night for those needing to get a higher level keystone for the weekly vault.
This is an important step in our guild development, allowing us to grow social members into potential mythic raid recruits so we need a player who is willing to lead the role.
