Recruitment

Hallows was formed in October 2010, We are a newly created guild for future progress

Hallows is currently recruiting all classes (including rerollers) for our end of Wrath of the Lich King & Cataclysm raiding team.
The current Recruitment Officer for Hallows is Xyls.
We at Hallows are looking to recruit players who bring something a little different to the table, dedicated, willing and individual players who want to try something new. We want Hallows to be that guild you remember.

Policies
We are more interested in your personal progress through World of Warcraft rather than what epics your main character has. Coming up to an expansion we understand and accept that players are looking to reroll and we welcome this, who would want to be stuck with a character they don’t enjoy playing after all?
Hallows aims to provide a relaxed raiding environment while continuing to progress through content at the same level as any ‘hardcore’ guild would do. To allow players to enjoy there own life while continuing to enjoy playing, we aim to raid a maximum of 4 days through content, and 3 days once completed.

We raid Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, And Monday through content, with the raid hours of 18.50 (Ontime bonus given at this point) till 23.00.

We refuse to accept that Ego’s and Drama have to be related with a good, stable and progressing guild. Discrimination, favouritism and segregation is not tolerated, we are here to raid as a guild and as a guild we raid as one focused unit of players. We have designed the guild rules and requirements around allowing equality. No one is more important.
As a member of Hallows we require an attendance rate of 90% in Hallows, although we promote real life activities, we will keep a close eye, and raise concerns with players that use this to miss wipe nights. Continuation of this will result in removal from the guild.

Trial Period
Anyone who is accepted into Hallows must undergo a mandatory Trial Period of 2 weeks (8/6 Raids). The trial period in Hallows is closely monitored by the resident Recruitment Officer Throughout these two weeks the Recruitment Officer will remain in close contact with the trials, We see there being a huge difference between a player that can use some mentoring and a player whose a lost cause.
After two weeks, the trial will be required to attend a meeting with the Officer Team of Hallows. The meeting will involve discussing strengths, weaknesses, mistakes and triumphs, they will be asked to explain how they think they could improve on these aspects, how they feel about the guild, how they feel interacting with the other members and ask if their goals are being achieved within the game.
After the meeting is conducted the officers will make their comments on the player, the final decision comes down to the Recruitment Officer.
Although the Recruitment process may seem daunting, it is to make sure the players we recruit are as happy with the guild as we are with them. We want players who want to be in the guild not just for the gear and kills, but also for the environment and the quality of raiding.

Applying
If you feel you would like to apply to Hallows, we have a premade recruitment module on the main page of Hallows.guildomatic.com and alternatively promote the use of email applications sent to [email protected].
