“Antebellum” Guild

Focus: Our main raiding focus is 10-mans. On off days different activities will be available like for example rated battlegrounds, old school raids, heroics .

Raiding schedule: We raid 3 days a week being Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Raiding time: 19:45 to 23:00 GMT+1

Mission Statement: We want to give raiders an opportunity to balance real life and still progress through the latest wow content. With our raid schedule server first might not be possible but that doesn’t mean we we won’t offer our members raids of high quality.


What makes Antebellum unique? (a.k.a. what we offer)
During 2010 Morior, Limestone and Pigmentvlek made their intentions clear they wanted to make a guild that progresses but no every night wow raiding. Not because every night wow raiding isn’t fun, but because work, friends, the wife/husband and studies can’t always be combined with hardcore raiding. In their view wow is all about fun.
That doesn’t mean Antebellum will slack on progress but the guild will try to promote a healthy balance between raiding and real life commitments, while also maintaining a strong focus on progression. For us the quality of raids is far more important than quantity. Community spirit within the guild is valued very highly and we view it as one of Antebellums primary strengths.

We want to operate in a drama free zone, where any individual will be able to progress in terms of skill, while still having the very most important aspect of a game: Fun! We strongly believe that a mix of nationalities can be a great plus. Currently we have Dutch, English,German, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish members in Antebellum, but we always look at ways to diversify our player base.

[B]What we expect from you
We have made a few guidelines for how we view an ideal candidate;


Personal
• You posses a healthy portion of common sense and are able to use it.
• You are a mature player (Age 18+ strongly preferred)
• A good sense of humor is a great plus,

Experience, skill and gear
• You have a good computer and a stable connection
• You have a deep insight into your own class and spec
• You know exactly which stats/gems/enchants/ rotation/abilities will maximize your performance in a raid and you use those. And are able to move out of the fire.
Activity
• Even though we only raid 2 or 3 days a week we expect our players to be available for those raids.
• You're able to tell us up front whenever you aren’t available.
