» About Hellion :

<Hellion> is a horde guild on The Maelstrom realm. We have been actively raiding since 2005, making us the oldest raiding guild on the realm. We have always been competing on the realm and horde firsts and we're gonna continue to do so in Cataclysm. We take raiding seriously, we buff up to the max on progress encounters and we research the raiding community and analyze our combat logs to find the best tactics and raid composition for the bosses. When progressing, our raiding schedule extends to five days per week. We understand however, that WoW is not the most important thing in the world and players that cannot commit to the raiding anymore often stay as part of the social community of the guild.

Raid Days : Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday.
(Raids can be moved to other days if needed, but people are informed in advance)
Raid Time : 19.30 - 23.30
Raid hours might extend during progression raids, by 15-30 minutes max.


» What We Need From You :

» Your armory profile should reflect your dedication towards your character and this game.
» You should have two raiding professions. Applicant with a gathering profession might not even be considered.
» You should always be aware of your class updates and changes, we expect you to be active in the class forums and constantly craft theories. It includes optimal gemming, specc and enchants for your class.
» If you don't have a stable connection and pc, it doesn't matter how skilled you are. !@#$ happens but we don't want you to be disconnected on every other encounter consecutively.
» We expect you to maintain above 85% attendance, but we do give our members enough flexibility for important IRL situations.
» You need to be familiar with the most common raiding addons and using them to maximize your raiding performance.
» Having an off-specc is a big plus but not essential.
» We expect you to have Ventrilo version 3.0 with a working microphone and ability to speak, if your "Rebirth" is on cooldown let us know.
» Our guild chat is pretty active and we have a lot of fun in it, we expect our recruits to have a positive sense of humor, sometimes you will be teased and to become a part of the guild you should have the patience to take a few jokes thrown towards you.
» Be social when it comes, we expect our recruits and our raiders to get along pretty well and play united.
» Drama queens will be dealt with strictly.
» Sometimes progress raids get hectic and people become fairly honest about what they think when you die to the Flame Tsunami for the 10th time. You need to be able to take criticism without going to cry in a corner.
» Whining and crying during raids is strictly discouraged, everyone wants to enjoy the game to the fullest and you will be warned twice if you cause issues.
