“Battlestar” Guild

Battlestar is a long standing Thunderhorn guild with a lot of history on the server. We're a casual 10 man raiding guild consisting of people who have played and raided together for months and years and can now call each other good friends.

That attitude is important to us, and it's important that any raider that joins us understands that we're a close group of friends who like to enjoy themselves.

We made strong Heroic progress in Wrath and the early part of Cataclysm, and are looking to regain that form in Mists of Pandaria.

We are an English speaking guild with players from a number of countries in Europe (and some further afield).

Raiding nights are Wednesday, Sunday and Monday from 20:30 - 23:30 server time.

We use TS3 for voice comms, and while a mic isn't essential for non-tanks, it's always useful and we don't hate banter.

We are currently looking to recruit two DPS, with a preference on ranged. All classes will be considered, with the exception of Hunters.

Despite our relaxed attitude, we are looking to strengthen our raiding team rather than just boost our numbers, so any potential recruits are expected to know how to play their class and have a decent understanding of fights before raiding.

Because of the strong bond between our members our raid rules are very relaxed. We do not use any point based system or Master Looter. Basically - Need for Main Spec, Greed for Off Spec, Pass for anything else. However, we expect respect and understanding from our raiders about how useful upgrades are. Sure, that item might be an upgrade for you, but if it's a much bigger upgrade for your teammate then why not pass and let them have it?

Should we decide to give you a trial we may choose to take you on some 5 man and/or LFR runs before making a final decision on whether we give you full raid trial status.
