“Extinction” Guild

Hi there and welcome to Extinction. We are currently a 10 man raiding guild on the server Twisting Nether, we are currently looking for more people to join our ranks and help us progress through this current expansion and tier of raiding.

We are looking for mature players, and people who understand their as well as enjoying the PvE aspect of the game. In terms of skill, we value the ability of the player to maximize the potential of his character (in spite of class/spec) and to constantly research new ways of becoming even better. We also value people who can listen and follow our advice during raids to their best. We are looking for people who are superstars, who are a beacon of skill in their circle of friends

The people that we are interested in are proactive players, these people will consist of self-conscious peeople who knows when enough is enough, we do not want you to sacrifice your job/school work just to raid a little long, if you are able to raid freely between 20.30- 24, you are able to show up 15 minutes before the raid times just so you can prepare yourself for the raid (repairs, consumables, moving to the specified destination). You can also stay somewhere between 30-45 more minutes if we're on the edge of an important boss kill for the guild. We understand that somepeople might have to go on the dot of 24.00 so all you will have to do it let an officer/GM know and we will decide what actions need to be taken.

The Main Requirements for the guild is listed bellow

1.Well rounded knowledge of your class i.e spec'd, glyphed and gemmed correctly, if you can't be bothered to comply with these basic requirements then this isn't the guild for you.

2. Minimum requirement of raiding is 3/4 days.

3. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. If you have an issue with someone in the guild bring to the attention of an officer.

4. Strictly NO trolling. When u cause drama your giving not only yourself a bad name but the guild you represent. Think of it like this: Arguing on trade is like the special Olympics... You might win but your still a retard. >_>

5. Wiping on new content was your first love.

6. Be punctual in showing up for raids.

7. Be mature both in age and attitude

8. Able to thrive on critism, as harsh as at may be at times.

9. Tolerance for any kind of Raidcall conversations outside raiding times (you will be tested on this as we joke around on vent a lot!).

10. Highly motivated to play WoW and do well, if you plan on quitting in the near future do not bother applying.

11. Rock solid connection and pc, even if you do 20000 dps or hps being offline doesn't help anyone.

12. Microphone (Even though it’s not mandatory during raiding, Using it during raids for useful information and suggestions is more than welcome, but it's equally important to know when to be silent).

13. Be an exceptional player regardless of class, able to understand fights quickly, avoid any kind of raid damage easily, give feedback on boss tactics and quickly gather information required to maximize your own, and the raid's, performance on a certain fight.

14. Be an exceptional player, able to play all specs of your class at the same high level (having a small player base we respec a lot to fill the needs of certain fights; you are expected to be ready to play any of your class's specs).
