With raiding content now actually proving to be something of a challenge and our current roster being insufficient to match these demands, we’ve elected to open recruitment for the following classes:

We're currently looking to fill up to three additional slots within the guild; any of the following would be of particular interest however we'll always consider any exceptional application we recieve.

Melee DPS (DK/Feral/Rogue)
Tank (Druid/Warrior/DK)
Caster (Mage/Warlock)

Applications can be mailed to - we will endeavour to get back to you within a week. Whispering someone in game following application submission is advisable (we're often slow at checking for emails :F).

Whilst your past raiding experience and achievements aren’t required to be exemplary, we do expect applicants to be of an appropriate calibre and be able to fulfil our raiding requirements.

Our requirements:

Presently Crooks and Liars is a 10 man heroic orientated guild, placing emphasis on quality of raids over quantity. Whilst we may aim to raid up to a maximum of 5 nights per week, in reality, few of our current members will actually attend all of the aforementioned. As such we have no particular raiding schedule requirements though we would obviously expect you to be extremely interested in raiding and be generally available to do so.

During raids, in order to maintain the aforementioned quality standards, we expect our players to know their classes inside out. Often, we’ll call upon people to play multiple specs within a single raid and as such it’s important to us that you’re confident in doing so. Similarly, maximising your output potential is important, but equally as important is your general raiding prowess and, of course, your ability to avoid fire. The usual consumable, gemming and enchanting requirements also apply.

About us:

To date, Crooks and Liars has existed on Vashj in several iterations on both Horde and Alliance. Over the years we’ve experienced various amounts of success and at times been a home to players that have subsequently gone on to high level raiding. Whilst we all share the common goal of matching the ever changing demands of the game and experiencing all of the available content, many of us now have a variety of important commitments that prevent us from playing excessively.

Raiding is intended to be fun, and as such we always endeavour to maintain a light hearted raid atmosphere. The majority of our members have played together or known each other for several years now and as such it is important to us to include all members in any guild related discussions or alterations. Within the guild we have no defined rank structure and operate a free for all guild bank policy which, contrary to belief, is far from abused – in fact quite the opposite.

I realise this brief synopsis is terribly vague, however, I think I’ve touched on all the important points. If you have any questions or would like additional information feel free to whisper any of our members who will more than gladly help you get in touch with one of our raiding members.
