“Ethos” Guild

With Firelands approaching we are looking for a few potential recruits to bolster our roster. We are the premiere (if only) dedicated 25man raiding guild on the server and would like to continue this in 4.2.


<Ethos> is a long-standing Vek'Nilash guild focused on 25-man raiding. We have remained on Vek for 4+ years, and will continue to raid on this server. Ethos has a strong tradition of mature, sensible raiders and good conduct within the community. We have a diverse collection of raiders (16+) from all over the greater Europe area dedicated to having fun in both progression and farm raids.

What you should expect from us:

1.) Zero tolerance on whine/drama/lootmongering.
2.) Strong dedicated leadership from a core of officers and veterans.
3.) Social, English-language guild-environment.
4.) Dedication to progression in WoW -- We are not a "hardcore" guild, but maintain a respectable progress and devotion to clearing bosses and obtaining achievements.
5.) A Level 25 guild with all the perks, raid cauldrons and feasts.

What we expect from you:

1.) Proper class-knowledge, including gemming/enchants and a viable offspec.
2.) Steady sign-ups for raids, despite loot-tables.
3.) English skills and the ability to both communicate your ideas in a succinct manner as well as the ability to receive constructive critique on your raiding performance.
4.) Mature attitude, both in our guild raids and in the community in general. This means no offensive, obnoxious behavior in PuGs and representing our core principals to the realm in general.
5.) Experience in a raid-group-- namely that you know the value of being on time, prepared, and good to go.

Our current recruitment agenda:

Tanks: None needed unless exceptional applicant with awesome offspec.

DPS: Warlock, Boomkin, Enhance Shammy, Elemental Shaman (Exceptional ranged applicants always considered)

Healers: 1/2 Holy paladin (High Priority) and Resto shammy.

Of course, any exceptional applications will be considered!

Sunday: 19:30-23:00
Tuesday: 19:30-23:00

Our progression is as follows for WoTLK:
ULD10: Cleared with Rusted Drakes.
ULD25: Cleared with Iron drakes.
ToC10: Cleared with a few mounts.
ToGC25: 4/5.
ICC10: 12/12 HM. Bloodbathed Frostbroods available for all.
ICC25: 11/12 HM. Frost Frostbroods available for 90%. (LKHC25 was killed a few weeks into Cata)

We use EPGP, like to have fun, and expect the best from ourselves and our potential recruits.
