“NK” Guild

At present we are looking for the following:

1 x Holy Paladin
1x Mage/Spriest
1 x Exceptional Tank (not warrior)
1 x Holy Priest
1 x Exceptional DPS Warrior
1 x Enhance Shaman
Any exceptional dps

We are also going to be considering applications to join as a build-up to Cataclysm, for casual guild spots for people who wish to join as raiders in early Cataclysm :

NK is Aman'thul's current top guild. We have been established as a raiding guild since mid-2007, and our core is still around from that period. We are a guild made up of a healthy mix of Singaporeans, Australians, Filipinos, Americans, and more. Our raiders vary from University students to people who work to parents with young children, as such we describe ourselves as a casual, yet focused, raiding guild. We have very lenient attendance policy especially in light of real life stuff coming up, but when we raid we do it seriously. It works for us, and this can be seen in the consistency in our progression between tiers, staying at Oceanic ~20-30/US350-500/World 800-1200 for the most part since the latter part of Tier 8.

Our raids are scheduled at 11pm - 2am AEST (Server Time) or 9pm-Midnight +8GMT on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and our expectation is that you can make 75% of those times.

Our Guild 'Highlights':

Relaxed: Relaxed raiding atmosphere with minimal 'raging'. This is simple. It is guild policy not to berate people, unless they are repeatedly making the same mistake. We find the problems, we address the problems, we correct them. We don't need to shout at others to make ourselves feel special.

Tight-knit, but open: A tight-knight environment of friends without any exclusive cliques, NK is a home for many of our raiders, and we have very low rates of people leaving for higher progression because of this. When you become a core member of NK, you become part of the family.

Casual, yet focused: Casual policies, in a focused raiding environment. We still call ourselves casual because we have 'bad' attendance weeks where people have overtime/work/dinners and what not. We don't look down upon this, but see it as part of every day life. Our progression rarely suffers because of it, because when we do raid, we take it seriously and we make sure everyone performs at near peak.

Stability : Largely, the same leadership since Gruul's Lair. Our core retention is very strong, and for this reason we only recruit when we really need to. 19 core raiders from Ulduar are still core raiders, 1 year ago. 7 core raiders from Gruul's Lair are still core raiders, nearly 4 years.
