About Us;
<Dinosaur Cowboys> is a semi-Hardcore progression raiding guild currently located on Horde Area-52. Our recruitment is currently open and we are looking for qualified individuals to join our core raid team. We are a group composed of ex hardcore raiders, now mostly working professionals that want mythic boss kills but do not want to give up 12-20 hours a week to get them. Most players on our raid team have been playing together for years. Even though we are primarily a raiding guild, we are also a community of players that frequently play other games beside WoW on off nights. On off nights we also offer sale runs, alt runs, and many M+ Groups. If you are a skilled player not only looking for a raiding guild but also a community then you have found the right place.


Expectations;

Attitude;
A good attitude is a necessity in any level of raiding. It is no different here. We are all humans and we love to joke around and have a good time, we expect everybody to be able to take a joke but also be able to be serious when progression starts. That being said, we are also not a top end raiding guild. We will not be going in a one shotting mythic bosses, if you cannot stick around for progression pulls then you will lose your raid spot. Some bosses take hundreds of wipes and we do expect that you be able to come prepared to sit through those pulls. We also expect you to have a good attitude if you have to sit on the bench. We do not specifically recruit for the bench but sometimes we might need you to sit out.

Attendance;
Raiders are expected to arrive before raid starts and fully prepared. You should have your own flasks, food, and runes. We do normally supply those via cauldrons and feasts. Trials and raiders are expected to have an attendance rate of at least 90%. Being a 2 night a week guild attendance is a big part of being a raider and we do take it very seriously. We do understand that life happens sometimes and you must miss raids, but if it becomes a consistent absence it may affect the loot you get or even your spot as a raider.

Raid Times;
Listed below are our raid times. We do have optional sale/alt runs every Wednesday night at the same time raid normally is but they are not required. We will never extend past raid time or add extra required days. We are strictly 2 night a week. All times below are EST.
Tuesday: 8:00PM – 12:00PM EST
Thursday: 8:00PM – 12:00PM EST

Performance;
Being a 2 night a week guild it is absolutely imperative that you can play your class at a high level. We expect everybody to come into the raid knowing what to do on bosses and be prepared to adapt to mechanics. We expect you to be able to take criticism and learn from your mistakes and other's mistakes. We also expect you to pull your weight, we do not plan to play underperformers. If you consistently mess up mechanics or don't pull your weight and do not improve upon it you will not be played.

Useful Information;

Loot;
Loot is distributed via Loot Council. Loot distribution is based on many factors such as performance, attitude, class/role, previous loot received, and attendance. Other factors may be taken into account also. We expect everybody to be more interested in boss kills rather than loot.
