Raids per week: 2

all classes
Horde Core is a fun and friendly casual guild first and foremost and has been on US Area 52 for more then 6 years (we were founded on 13 April 2013 and have had the same GM and Co-GM since then}.

We also field a relaxed but serious progression raid team.

BLUF/TL:DR: Always looking for good folks - casuals, raiders, or new folks looking to see if this game works for them.

We have all the normal perks including repairs and the ability to set up events.

We only have one rule for guild membership: Don't be a butthead (i.e. ruin the game for others or give our guild a bad name). Anyone - class/spec/level - is welcome to join our guild for the casual aspect of the game.

We also have a progression (serious, not hardcore) raid team. We are currently 12/12N and 12/12H. As a guild we have earned AoTC for every tier in every expansion since our founding (17 in a row).

With 8.3 having dropped we are looking to round out out our raid team with a well balanced and reliable group that fits our personality.

We have toons with past heroic/mythic experience and are always willing to help out. A lot of our raiders are reformed hardcore raiders but we are always willing to help out raiders and casuals alike.

Elitist's don't really fit here. But toons looking to push themselves to be better are more than welcome - especially if they are willing to help others get better as well.

We run our progression group on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1930-2300 Eastern/Server. We also run groups at other times to help gear future raiders, revisit old content, grind mythic dungeons, etc.

We are very flexible in adapting strategies to the group we have available on raid night, so all spots can be considered open though we will not overload any one role/class/spec. With 8.3 here there are still spots for good folks.

For the raid group we are looking for folks with extremely similar goals and reasonably similar experience/gear but.... we can always fix gear/experience. It's much harder to fix raid awareness, good attitudes, humor, and reliability.

It is more than casual - you should be gemmed, enchanted, talented, and have appropriate consumables (though the gbank helps with that). Also, we expect folks to work on improving their performance.

It is less than hardcore - Real Life matters and we only spend a 6 to 7 hours a week progressing. Our standard is fun - not speed (but dropping new bosses is fun for us).

It is serious - a very hard to find sweet spot where folks do their best and try to improve but don't get tied up in knots when it doesn't go smoothly for a pull or two (or twenty).

For raiding we do use logs (Warcraftlogs.com) to help us improve - but not as a tool to belittle folks. As long as you are trying to improve you are welcome here. If severely underperforming we will try to help first but everyone needs to be respectful of other folk's time so chronically underperforming folks (usually a raid awareness/mechanics issue as dead dps do no dps) may be asked to sit out until we can fix the problem.

The same butthead rule applies to our raid team along with a couple more items.

1. Be reliable for our raid times of 1930-2300 Tu and Wed server/eastern

2. Be able to be on Mumble voice and willing to communicate to help the group

3. Join our discord chat group for strats/logs/discussions

4. Don't be all about me, now, and loot - we progress as a group and are fair to everyone - loot always drops and does not define the player (though we love it too)

5. Be raid aware and open to improvement

6. Respect other folks time - don't be afk, not there without letting others know, have your consumables, etc.

If you are interested in casual membership or in raiding with us hit me up in game as any toon in Horde Core with "ops" in the name is me or one of my alts or via battlenet at Ops#1155. Also feel free to contact any member that is online.

Thanks,
Opso
