“OminousOmnibus” Guild

Hi all! Welcome to OminousOmnibus, a "Hardcore-Casual" guild on US Area-52. We are comprised of a multitude of play styles and backgrounds, which culminates in an enjoyable play experience for everyone involved.

Our guild was born out of the desire of three friends, all long-time WoW players, who longed for a more comfortable and collaborative guild experience. Together, they thought of the things that they had seen cause the downfall of so many other guilds, and thus OminousOmnibus was born.

What makes us different? We have two rules, which unlike other guilds you will encounter, apply to everyone in the guild regardless of rank. Rule #1, don't talk about numbers. The meters don't exist, your DPS, heals, etc don't matter. What we care about is the amount of effort you put in to learning from your mistakes. Rule #2, don't be a jerk! If you have a good attitude, can take a joke, and enjoy the game, then we have room for you! Another thing that makes us different is that we are a true collaborative guild. We all work for the greater good of the guild and its members, meaning that we all supply the guild bank, raid team, and run when people need it. We work hard to get the weeklies done and to be there for each other, to help in leveling or gearing as much as possible.

Our promotions are based on merit, not necessarily skill, so even if you are quiet, or feel like you aren't as skilled as another player, you may get a rank bump when you least expect it. All of our officers started out as initiates, and none of them have met the GM's in real life. We are a fair and balanced managerial team, and that balance is what helps us succeed while other guilds fall victim to guild drama.
