Who are Remnants Gaming anyway?

We’ve been around a while, we’ve seen over 2500+ players be a part of Remnants Gaming since 2008 when we first came together during WoW:BC on the freshly opened Dreadmaul server. We went on to build on the Remnants Gaming name in other MMO titles including: Guild Wars 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Wildstar, Elder Scrolls: Online and Destiny (PS4).

Remnants Gaming has had various success in each title, we held Oceanic #1 for 8 and 16 man raiding from launch for SWTOR until we retired from the game pending new content (which came 3+ months later! sorry BioWare, can’t wait that long!). We also clinched Oceanic #1 for 20 man raiding in Wildstar until the Oceanic population for the Dominion faction declined to a point where we could no longer raid.

So what are we doing in WoW? We’re not Oceanic #1, we’re probably not even in the top Oceanic #150. We’re pushing through content at our own pace, raiding three times a week and enjoying the Remnants Gaming culture. We’re serious enough to be working on Mythic content and we have a leadership team with diverse backgrounds who all work together to maintain the positive guild and raiding environment we enjoy. Many of us have grown up now, unable to commit the long hours we used to when we were studying - people used to miss raids because of Uni parties, now we miss raids for weddings and honeymoons, long nights at the office, travelling for work or having a baby.

We’re about having fun whilst maintaining a high standard of raiding to ensure we meet our goals of progressing through the hardest content Blizzard has to offer… without sacrificing our real life commitments.

What’s this about anyway?

We wanted to share some information about our guild with you. You might be a good fit for our guild, and to answer any questions you might have, we’ve compiled a little FAQ below.

What do we do? More like what don’t we do, right?

Raiding:

We raid two nights a week

Wednesday 8pm - 11pm (AEDST) Server Time
Thursday 8pm - 11pm (AEDST) Server Time


We provide the following for our raiding members from our guild bank for each raid:

Food - Currently as we begin to bankroll the guild once again. Once the goal has been reached more will be provided.


What we require from you:

Show up, or if you can’t show up, let us know.
Show you have knowledge of raid encounters.
Selfie camera.

Casual Play & Community:

We have a Facebook page that we try to post to regularly. Give us a like and join in the conversation here.

We have a Facebook group where members, past and present, trade links, war-stories, logs and general banter.

Our raid team is just one pillar of the guild, we have 200+ members in guild, all active within the last 14 days.

So how about it?

We want to push Mythic content and we want you to be a part of that with us.

Our raid spots are merit based - To progress you have to take in the best team available, if that means benching the GM, an Officer, or a member of five years - then so be it. That’s the reality of raiding Mythic content, and that’s the culture of PvE raiding at Remnants Gaming. If you can back yourself to perform at a high standard, you’ll find a raid spot available for you with us.
