“Sere Vala” Guild

Sere Vala is a classic WoW guild who aims for an open-minded, family like environment and the ability to conquer end-game content at an accelerated pace. We started out as Sons of Avatar in January of 2005 and changed our name around the middle of 2005 to Sere Vala. "Sere" means "Peace" (Tolkien's Elvish) and "Vala" is taken from Tolkien's Valar character for a loose translation of "Angelic Peace" or "Peace Order."

We are geared more toward a mature audience because we do allow profanity, adult conversation and off-color joking in GuildChat, Ventrilo, on our forums and in our raid/party channels. We don't have an age restriction on membership; although, we do ask players under 17 to get their parents' permission before joining Sere Vala and we encourage use of Blizzard's built-in profanity filter.

We may not be a huge guild but what we lack in quantity we make up for in quality. Many of us have been playing World of Warcraft for years and most of that time has been spent together. We pride ourselves on being players who not only strive to be good at our classes but also enjoy having fun with each other.

We are currently raiding Wrath of the Lich King content and are making fast and steady progress through the 25-man's. Vegdrasil's Fat Panda's group regularly clears regular ToC 25-man on Wednesdays while working on Yogg in Ulduar 25-man on Thursdays. Rubedo runs a ToC 25-man on Tuesdays, Ulduar 10-man on Friday nights, Sunday morning and ToC 10-man on Sunday evenings.

We've have a long-standing relationship (over 3 years) as a member guild of SASU, a raiding organization that aids the players of Earthen Ring in seeing end-game content even if they are in a small guild or unguilded.
