Mythos was formed during The Burning Crusade from the remnants of
the guild Doragon. A core group of people has grouped, role-played,
and raided together since Vanilla and has been the foundation of
Mythos as it stands today.
Today, Mythos is a guild with a variety of different people with different interests. We have a regular guild raid where we clear Normal and Heroic content on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-9pm west coast server time. The guild took a break from raiding towards the end of BfA, but we are delving into Castle Nathria and expect to clear the instance on heroic before the next raid tier.
Sunday night at 6pm, we hold Guild Night where we do activities others need, such as M+ clears, weekly events, old raids for gear, member-hosted RP events, or occasionally PvP. No one is required to participate in raiding to be in the guild, but we do expect mutual respect, a friendly nature, and open-mindedness.
The guild has grown to become more than just a WoW guild; Mythos is a family. Our activities expand beyond just World of Warcraft. We have a guild Discord where we chat every day about our lives. We have an annual gathering in person where we have food, party, play games, and get to know each other better, which we've done every year for 11 straight years now. This is why we say we are more than just a guild, we're a family.
